We enjoyed dinner at Trattoria Zaza, a popular restaurant in Florence. First, we had beef covered in truffle sauce. It was rich in aroma and went perfectly with the soft and juicy meat! And the Gorgonzola gnocchi was also excellent. The rich and creamy sauce was mixed with the chewy gnocchi, making it an irresistible dish for cheese lovers. And for dessert, the panna cotta...it was the best thing I've ever had in my life! It had a smooth texture that melted in my mouth and just the right amount of sweetness. When you come to Florence, you absolutely cannot miss the classic delicacy of T-bone steak. That day, I happened to pass by Trattoria Mario and was very lucky to get a seat right when the restaurant opened. This restaurant is known for its cozy family-style atmosphere and has been a culinary pilgrimage spot for locals and tourists alike since its establishment. The restaurant insists on using fresh ingredients from Tuscany, and the menu changes daily based on the supply from the central market, ensuring that every dish is full of seasonal flavors. The T-bone steak here is definitely one of the highlights! It uses top-quality beef from the Tuscany region, cooked in the simplest way, with a crispy exterior and a tender, juicy interior. Compared to another famous restaurant, Trattoria Dall'Oste, I prefer the steak at Trattoria Mario—the meat is more tender, the flavor is purer, and you can really taste the original aroma of the beef. Highly recommended! I personally don't quite understand the other home-style dishes, but just for the steak, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. One more thing to remind everyone! Trattoria Mario only serves lunch, and the business hours are roughly from noon to 2 PM. 🏨 Hotel L'Orologio 📍Piazza Santa Maria Novella 24, Florence, Italy For this trip, I chose Hotel L'Orologio, which is located next to the beautiful Piazza Santa Maria Novella. It's only a 5-minute walk from Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station, making it very convenient. There are many attractions near the hotel, and you can easily walk to the cathedral, the Uffizi Gallery, and other city sights. 🛋️ As soon as I walked into the hotel, I was immediately attracted by the elegant and luxurious atmosphere. The lobby is decorated with all kinds of precious watches, giving you a sense of time travel. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the check-in process was simple and efficient. The breakfast area on the fourth floor of the hotel overlooks the beautiful Santa Maria Novella Church, and starting each day with this beautiful view is unparalleled. 🏡 I felt great after checking into the room. Although our room was not large, it was very delicately decorated. The bed was super comfortable, and the pillows were great, so you can fall asleep every night. Florence during the day is art itself. When I entered the Uffizi Gallery and faced the works of Renaissance masters, I experienced a breathtaking moment. The view of the Arno River through the sunlit windows looked like a scene from a painting, and the quiet and serene atmosphere inside the gallery added a unique touch to the trip.
