[2025 Taipei Hotels] Travel Guide for FX Hotel (Taipei Nanjing East Road) (Updated Jul)

I stayed in this hotel again after 9 years and felt that it had changed a lot. The decoration was the same as before and I didn't see any renovation. The hardware was old and even the registration lobby was moved to the 15th floor. I may have to think about it again next time I stay.

Staying in the deluxe double room at FX Hotel was a pleasant experience. The hotel boasts a superior location in the city center, surrounded by numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions, with convenient transportation and well-developed living facilities. The deluxe double room was spacious and comfortable, with a stylish and modern design. The comfortable king-size bed provided us with good sleep quality during our stay, making the trip more energetic. The room was also equipped with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, and an LCD TV, making our stay more convenient and comfortable. The service at the hotel was also excellent. The staff were warm and friendly, eager to help, making us feel at home. The hotel also offered a variety of thoughtful services, such as luggage storage and taxi booking, making our stay more enjoyable and relaxed. However, the cleanliness of the room could occasionally be improved, as some dust and dirt affected the comfort of our stay. Additionally, the soundproofing of the rooms was not ideal, and we were easily disturbed by external noise, affecting the quality of rest. Overall, staying in the deluxe double room at FX Hotel was a pleasant experience. The superior location, comfortable accommodation, and warm, attentive service made for a wonderful holiday. I would be happy to stay again and recommend this hotel to friends.

The slanted letter box location is between the intersection of the Nanjing east road and the longjiang road. I spent 20 minutes looking for the exact location. The slanted post boxes has turned into a popular tourist attraction recently. The slanted post boxes are caused by the strong typhoon where the signboard from the shop at the top dropped down and hit the post box. Many including myself have come to witness this scene. There is a security guard standing near the post box. Many people queued up to take pictures with the slanted post box. If you are staying in Taipei near the Nanjing east road, you can take a picture of it and share it with your friends. #bucketlistreboot
