Garden Island Sydney is the best place to go boat spotting with a very high chance of catching a glimpse of our Navy personnel returning or deploying from Sydney. Although the rooms are not large, they are beautifully decorated and fully functional. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, making you feel at home from the moment you check in. The room layout is compact but comfortable, providing everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is clean, and the water pressure is great. I was very satisfied with all of this. 🛍I stayed in a Standard Queen Room. Although the space is not large, the design is reasonable, and it doesn't feel cramped. The bed is very comfortable, and I slept well every night. The room is fully equipped with a TV, free Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, and more. Address: No9 Springfield Potts Point Atmosphere/Facilities: Atmosphere: Good!! It had the atmosphere of an overseas drama. There are no staff at night, so check-in times are limited, but the staff were very friendly and kind. The first floor is a cafe where you can order breakfast, and it was nice that there was a supermarket right in front of the hotel that sold a lot of fruit. It was also close to the station, and the Opera House was a quick train ride away! We stayed in a room on the fourth floor. There is only an elevator up to the third floor, so you have to climb the stairs to the remaining first floor. It's quite tiring if you have a large suitcase. There are no slippers, so it's better to bring your own. I'm satisfied because it was a reasonable price for a hotel in Australia.

Room 10 is a great coffee and breakfast.spot. But you need to get here early on weekends as it gets rather busy. I spent an hour over the weekends waiting to get a table. Lots of locals come so you know it's good. My favourite dish is the Breakfast Rice, simple eggs on toast are also really good. The outdoor seating is a bit more chilled as it's away from the kitchen but during winter it's also a bit more chilled. (See what I did there). The food at Cho Cho San is exceptional, showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese flavours that are truly unforgettable. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a long dinner, every dish is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. It’s a really lively restaurant with a nice atmosphere although due to the small space, the sound is amplified and got quite noisy where I couldn’t quite hear the person next to me. That's only a bother when you are here on a business meeting or entertaining a client. The ocean trout was our favourite, with a punchy soy sauce wasabi base. Garden Island in Sydney Harbour is located northeast of Sydney's city center. Originally a small island, it was connected to the Sydney coast during World War II through land reclamation, becoming a peninsula. European colonists renamed the island Garden Island in the first month of their arrival in Australia in 1788 and established a naval base there. To this day, Garden Island remains a base for the Royal Australian Navy, with about half of Australia's warships docked here, making the warships a backdrop to the Sydney Opera House. In addition to underground tunnels and air-raid shelters, the island also houses a naval museum. The museum is open to the public, but visits must be booked in advance.
