Ramla Bay
Ramla Bay
Ramla Bay is located in the Nadur area of Gozo Island, Malta. I was looking for a beach near my accommodation and ended up going to Ramla Bay. This beach has unique orange sand and looks pretty!!
After playing in the water at the beach, I found an ice cream truck on my way back, so I ate ice cream and went back☺️ The owner was also very kind.

Neolithic Memories Engraved in Malta's Stones, Ġgantija
🪨 Resonance of Ancient Limestone
Located on the island of Gozo, Ġgantija is one of the world's oldest stone temples, built around 3600 BC. The massive limestone blocks, towering up to 6 meters high, are stacked layer upon layer, leaving us to wonder how people of that era managed to construct such a structure 🪵🌀. Predating Stonehenge, this monumental site speaks to the grandeur of time.
⸻
🏛 Ancient Traces in Two Temples
The site consists of two separate stone temples, with entrances, altars, and internal pathways still clearly visible. The overall design is simple yet harmonious, evoking a sense of sacred purpose. The integration of the ruins into the natural surroundings leaves a profound impression 🌿🔆🪨.
⸻
🧭 Deepening Understanding at the Museum
Near the entrance, a visitor center and museum showcase the discovery and preservation of Ġgantija, along with insights into the lives of ancient Maltese people. Exhibits of artifacts and tools from the era allow visitors to experience the temple's significance firsthand 🧳🎥📜.
⸻
🌬 Stories of Millennia Told by the Wind
Situated on a tranquil plain of Gozo, the site offers a serene atmosphere where the wind carries the tales of stones that have stood for thousands of years. It's a must-visit destination for those eager to connect with Malta's ancient history 🍃🕰️🌄.

🏺 A day into Malta's past
🪨 The giant stone of the Gigantiya Temple on Gozo Island
Gozo Island, quieter than Malta, has the oldest limestone temple in the world at its center. The temple from thousands of years ago still stands firm, and standing in front of it brings deep emotions without words 🏛️🕰️🍃
⠀

🧱 Strange sculptures at the Tarsin Ruins
An ancient ruins hidden in a residential area on the south side of the main island of Malta. There are giant statues of goddesses and geometric patterns. From a distance, it looks like a pile of stones, but if you look closely, you can feel the hands of people from BC 🌀🪨📜
⠀
⸻
⠀
🌅 Evening view from the castle
Standing on the walls of Valletta and Mdina, you can feel how much time has passed in the cities. The sun sets behind the old stone walls, and the lights come on quietly. Time always flows slowly in Malta 🪖🌇🏰

Ta’ Kola Windmill
Ta’ Kola Windmill, is located in Xaghra on Gozo and was built in 1725 and was in almost continuous use until well past the end of the Second World War; in 1992 it became a museum. It is one of the few surviving windmills dating from the period of the Knights of St John on the Maltese archipelago. If you are visiting the Maltese a cappella go in 2025 and particularly goes out it’s definitely worth a visit. The ticket can also be used to enter the Gigantija ArchaeologicalPark.

Relax and refresh at Ramla bay
I think of all the different beaches in Malta Ramla Bay Beach is my favourite! Ram Bay is found on the island of Gozo which is the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago. The beach. Here is large with beautiful soft golden sand. The water is often very clear and quite shallow for some distance. There are also great places to hike either side of the bay where you can get some really great views.

Shining Gozo Island🏝️
Gozo Island can be reached by ferry from the main island of Malta ☀️
Staying on the crystal clear blue🩵 water and smooth brown🤎 sandy beach is a rare experience you can't get in Japan ✨
There are many sandy beaches on Gozo Island, but this time I visited a beach called Ramla Bay! The road leading from the city to the sandy beach was stylish, and I felt like I was in a movie 🎬
🚢 (as of September 2024)
・About 1 hour by bus from the city center (to Cirkewwa Station)
・About 45 minutes one way (by ferry from Cirkewwa Station)
・Operates every 30 to 45 minutes (operates 24 hours)
・About 750 yen (You don't need to purchase a ticket for the boat on the way there, you pay for a round-trip ticket on the way back)
When heading to Gozo Island, you can enjoy the deep blue sea from the ferry,
and when returning to the main island, you can enjoy the sea shining in the sunset❣️
It is a beach resort that can be visited on a day trip from the main island of Malta, so if you go a little further, you can see a different view☺️
