A hidden gem of a yakiniku restaurant in Tachibana, Amagasaki, frequented by locals. A friend recommended it, so I was taken there. Their specialty is salted skirt steak block and salted tongue.
▼Salted tongue 1500 yen
The photo shows a serving for two. It's fatty and soft, but also chewy and easy to eat. The saltiness is quite strong, and the balance of that and the lemon juice brings out the deliciousness. Ordering is a must.
▼Top Skirt Steak 1500 yen
Juicy and chewy, but soft enough to be chewed. You can fully enjoy the moderate fat and flavor.
▼Top Kalbi 1500 yen
The lean meat, which also has beautiful marbling, has a rich, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness.
▼Kimo 800 yen
The miso-based kimo has no odor and is soft even when grilled, and its delicious flavor is appealing.
▼Bean Sprout Namul 500 yen
The thin bean sprouts have a crunchy texture, a nice sesame oil aroma, and just the right amount of saltiness.
Everything I tried was delicious and I was very satisfied. I made a reservation early in the day, but it was full in no time. It's a place that's difficult to get to without a car, but it was worth the trip.
