[2025 Genting Highlands Hotels] Travel Guide for Grand Ion Delemen Hotel (Updated Jul)

Family getaway to the Highlands during the 2023 New Year’s eve to the Grand Ion Delemen hotel was splendid. Room was modern and suitable for a family with a baby. The service was thoughtful & impeccable, even providing us with as much 4 towels as we are with a baby. We appreciate the bellhop service and complimentary parking. There was no shortage of Food choices either with Sagar (Indian cuisine), Cukmore (Jap fast-food), Thai cuisine (Tavern in the Sky), Dakka Station (Cafe by the pool), buffet breakfast (Kembali Kitchen), and Fairy Tales (tea n cake). Also took the opportunity to dip in the indoor heated pool which was refreshing. #mytripvlog

The room is big and everything quite good. But it quite troublesome to take the buggy from the hotel lobby to the hotel room tower. Then call for buggy again when we need to go to the restaurant from our hotel room.

Getting There - Waze Grand Ion Delemen, Genting Highlands. About 1 hour 30 mins from Kuala Lumpur. (Near amber court 😂) Avg price/ night - Around RM 300/room Check in time - 3:00pm (early check in upon availability) Check out time - 12:00pm (there’s a charge for late check out after 1:00pm) Attractions - 10-15 mins drive to the First World Plaza/ Theme Park. Food & Restaurants - Disclaimer there’s no other cafe or restaurant nearby except for the hotel’s restaurant. There’s MyNews next to the lobby. Service/ amenities - Their service was 9/10. There’re two pools (outdoor and indoor pool). - Outdoor swimming pool has a nice view but super cold. - The indoor heated pool is suitable for everyone. #bucketlistreboot #tripblazers

This hotel is located at the top of the hill. Surrounded by the forest and building under construction..less car on the way to the hotel. we take a grab from First World Hotel, it takes around 10 to 15 minutes to arrive at the hotel lobby. When we arrive we have to queue to check in due to the timing being peak hour. The Chinese man front desk helped us to check in and he explained patiently on all the hotel information what i like the most is this hotel provides a shuttle to go to the First World Hotel where the mall and theme park are located. They have timing for the shuttle and need to book. they need to improve the method of booking the shuttle due to the very old school way. they just write in the form and the form is passed around among the staff..the shuttle also needs to be paid for every ride. Our room need to walk on 5 minutes or book a shuttle also. as in the picture, our room is spacious and satisfied. however the housekeeping must always check the soap and shampoo to be refill..because when i arrive no shampoo and shower gel provided.

Today, stay in the suites of the Supreme Court Hotel, spacious living room, warm room, soft and comfortable big bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, walk up to the balcony, as if standing at the foot of 6000 feet high overlooking Yunding Good view. You can sit on the sofa and enjoy the dessert. You can also burn a pot of hot tea or coffee. There is a TV in the room and the living room. You can see where you can see it. Two people or a family of three come and enjoy it!

A look of how the shuttle bus to and from Grand Ion Delemen to Genting Main Terminal. Service available every hour. Cost Rm7 for walk in and Rm6 if booked thru MyTourism website.

Hotel was pretty good with ample of facilities and lepak space within the hotel grounds. Suitable for small groups and family stay. The only confusing part is the different building blocks or towers for different purposes. For eg. Carpark was at Tower A, Hotel Reception is at Tower B and my assigned room is at Tower C. Valet parking is available but will cost you a lot more. Hotel guests get to park for free, but firstly you will need to validate your TnG card every time before you exit at the reception. So, you can imagine the amount of walking involved just trying to get in and out of the hotel. LOL. Another plus point, there is a shuttle bus/van provided by the hotel at an affordable fee to First World (if I'm not mistaken) if you opt not to drive. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The check-in and out process was pretty fast and efficient. Room was clean and spacious. Even though there was a construction project going on next door, the disturbance is minimal.
