"La La Land" is a movie I like very much, and the main filming locations were in Los Angeles. The Griffith Observatory I went to this time is one of the filming locations and is also a local Internet celebrity attraction. After getting off, walk a short distance to the entrance. It is recommended to avoid holidays and weekends, and go a bit earlier. Many people go up the hill around 4 or 5 PM to watch the sunset🌇, which can cause traffic jams. ✔️When going down, you can take a free shuttle bus to the bottom of the hill and then take a taxi, which can save some fare😁. 👀Highlights ✔️The observatory does not require an entrance fee. Watching a show costs $10, and you can buy tickets on the spot. The seats are incredibly comfortable, especially for those who have been walking all day. I took LA DOT’s FREE (YES IT IS FOC) DASH Observatory/ Los Feliz bus to Griffith Observatory, and it dropped us off right at the entrance. The bus ride was fun, and we got to see some cool sights along the way. Once we arrived, we climbed up a little hill to reach the observatory, and the view was amazing! We could see all of Los Angeles spread out below us like a giant puzzle. The tall buildings downtown, the Hollywood sign in the distance, and rolling hills of Griffith Park. We spent hours just staring at the view and taking pictures. Inside the observatory, we learned all about space and stars, but nothing beats the view from outside. #WinHKFlight #winhkflight Hong Kong is a destination with so much culture, outdoors, nightlife, food and history! There were a lot of cars so it was difficult to use Uber. It is a place where you can see the whole of LA at a glance under the blue sky. There is a bus at the bottom of the mountain that can be reached, but it is quite difficult to wait for the bus at night, and I was late several times. It is more convenient to drive by yourself. You can drive all the way up and stop when you see something you like. You will pass by the theater, where many people get off and wander around. The observatory also has a parking lot for parking. The night view is beautiful. It is recommended to bring a tripod to take pictures. The whole city is very bright and special. One of the must-visit attractions for movie fans who like La La Land. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to wait in line for the top stargazing telescope, and you can get a brief glimpse of the planet in less than a minute, which is quite a special experience~

address: 2800 East Observatory Road Los Angeles, CA 90027 (213) 473-0800 not going to lie, we drove to griffith after visiting the renowned Hollywood sign, which you are able to see from Griffith. parking lots were plenty however it is a popular attraction hence might need to spend time finding parking. free admission with lots to see if you’re into telescope and stuff. this place is one of the few in the world that still produces exclusively live planetarium shows if you like such stuff. also, because of how central it’s located and because it’s up the hill, it’s located at a good spot where you can oversea the skyline of LA. beautiful. do check for operating hours. I went to Los Angeles in the US before. I wanted to see the Hollywood sign, so I went up to the Griffith Observatory. The view from the Griffith Observatory is spectacular, and you can see the Hollywood sign, even though it's small.
