You can't go wrong with visiting Quyuan Fenghe for lotus viewing in summer~ This time, after watching the sunrise at West Lake, I went directly to Quyuan Fenghe. Quyuan Fenghe in the early morning is the real West Lake~ At this point, the tour groups and large waves of tourists have not arrived yet, and there are very few people, only a few locals who are jogging in the morning and exercising by the lake. If you come earlier, you can go to the Moon Bridge to take pictures of the "Golden Light Passing Through the Hole". Turn left after entering Gate 3, and turn right to the waterside at Liaoting Corridor. I turned right after entering Gate 3 and passed by the Lotus Garden Restaurant. I accidentally discovered the goldfish, which are very popular recently, the goldfish tank and the hanging goldfish balls. There are not many people in the restaurant, it is very quiet and there is no need to queue. The light in the early morning is soft and golden, which is also worth taking pictures. Going further, you will reach Zhanbi Tower. The second floor of Zhanbi Tower has a good view of lotus viewing. You can take a bird's-eye view of the lotus and Leifeng Pagoda in the same frame. You can directly locate the "Shenzhou Base Scenic Spot" by taking a taxi. If you have the energy, you can take a taxi to the vicinity of the southern entrance of Su Causeway, and then rent a bicycle to ride there, but it will be a bit tiring. Some roads here are up and down. I can experience the feeling of a "roller coaster" when I take a taxi. After arriving at 4:30, I waited for the sun to rise on the Metasequoia Forest Pier from 4:30 to 5 o'clock. Check the sunrise time in the weather forecast in advance. I went to Hangzhou to watch a concert recently and stayed in a hotel that I highly recommend! There was no big price increase during the concert. Now I will give priority to Atour brand hotels when I travel. Hangzhou Sijiqing Nanxingqiao Subway Station Light Residence Hotel, this hotel opened in March 24, the location is very good, next to Nanxingqiao Subway Station, exit B is just right, you don’t have to walk far, it is close to West Lake and Olympic Sports Center, and it is not delayed to watch the concert and go to Hangzhou. Moreover, Line 5 passes this station, and it is very convenient to take Line 5 to Girl Bridge to transfer to Shaoxing Line 1 to Lu Xun’s hometown. The exterior of the hotel building has no style, it is in the building, and the check-in is on the third floor. The attitude of the staff is very enthusiastic and the processing speed is quite fast. I booked a superior twin room with an area of 24-26㎡ and two 1.2m beds. I booked for 3 nights, 💰 just over 1,200, an average of 400 per night, and only one day included breakfast. Let's review the Mercure hotel chain in Hangzhou. We stayed here for 2 nights and were quite impressed...🏨 The branch we stayed at was Mercure Hangzhou Gongshu Wanda Plaza (this time we didn't book it ourselves so we're not sure about the branch, but from what I checked on the app, the room layout matched this branch). —- 🛌 The room we stayed in was an Honorable Twin Room. We really liked the bed. It was soft but not so soft that it made our bodies ache. The bed was a spring bed with a thick blanket. It was very comfortable to sleep on. It was like recharging our batteries before going out to do more tomorrow. —- 🪞 The mirror by the outside sink can be lit up for putting on makeup. There's also a full-length mirror for taking selfies in front of the mirror before leaving the room. There's an outside sink with separate wet and dry zones. This is great because when you go with friends, you don't have to wait in line to use the bathroom. —- 🍛 Breakfast is a buffet. There's quite a lot to choose from, although the main dishes are still Chinese. But there are both boiled, stir-fried, fried, dumplings, noodle dishes, fruit juice, desserts, bread. Since we wanted to try many things, we took a little of each. —- 📍Around the hotel ⊹ There is a minimart right next to the exit in front of the hotel on the left. We always get late-night snacks here. ⊹ There is a shopping mall about 2 km from the hotel. You can call DiDi to go there, but at that time, we thought it was close, so we walked with our friends. At first glance, the front of the shop looks like an EDM Pub, but inside, it's actually a karaoke shop with private rooms. —- 💚Pros > There is a private bathroom in the room. This is very good. You don't have to use a shared bathroom because normally, if there are drunk people in a shop with alcohol, the bathroom is not very clean. > You don't have to worry about drunk people going to the bathroom and the shop being dark. > The room is large and can hold a lot of people. There are wide sofas. There is space to dance without being crowded. —- ❤️Cons > Most of the songs are Chinese + international songs. There are a few Thai songs. > If there are few people, it may not be worth it if the KTV doesn't have many small rooms. > If you don't drink alcohol, the room you rent may be a bit expensive. —- 💰Price of renting a room We rented it for the whole night until the shop closed (I can't remember what time it closed).
