🌸 High Above Bali: My Visit to Happy Swing
🚗 Smooth Ride to a Scenic Spot
Happy Swing Bali is located around 20–30 minutes from Ubud, and getting there was easy with Google Maps. The surrounding area is peaceful, and there’s proper parking on-site. A chill start to the day!
🎟️ Quick Entry, But a Bit Pricey
We were welcomed warmly, and the staff explained the different swing packages clearly. Prices start around IDR 150,000, and go up if you want extras like photo assistance, costume rentals, or drone shots.
Honestly? It felt a little pricey for what it is—you’re mostly paying for the experience, the trend, and of course, the photos. If you’re not into social media moments or swings, it might not be a must-do.
🌿 Swinging Without the Fear
The swing looks scarier than it feels. You’re well-harnessed, and the push isn’t too aggressive. I don’t have a fear of heights, but if you do, this might still be manageable, it’s more about the view than the adrenaline.
The jungle backdrop is stunning, though, and you do feel that brief “wow” moment when you swing out above the trees.
📸 It’s a Photo Spot, Let’s Be Real
The staff are really skilled at helping you get those viral Bali shots. They know the angles, the poses, and the timing. There are also cute props and nests around the area for more photos.
We didn’t rent the traditional dresses, but we saw others do it and it definitely added a magical touch to the pictures.
☕ A Chill Break Afterward
There’s a small café on-site where you can relax, grab a drink, and look through your photos. Nothing fancy, but nice to have. The vibe is quiet, and the breeze from the trees makes it a good resting spot after your turn on the swing.
📝 A Few Tips Before You Go
• Come in the morning for better light and fewer people
• Dress comfortably, flowy skirts look great in photos
• Bring cash, especially if you plan to rent a dress or get drone photos
• If you’re only going for the “Bali swing” photo, this place delivers
• But if you’re looking for more thrill or cultural depth, it might not hit the mark
🌟 Final Thoughts
To be honest, we came more for the hype and the photos than anything else. It’s not really about thrill or cultural experience, more of a “do it once for the pic” kind of thing.
That said, the place is well-run, the view is beautiful, and the staff are super helpful. Just be prepared to pay for the trend.
