Visiting Tengchong in June and July often comes with worries about rain, but luckily, we chose a hot spring guesthouse located within the ancient town. The misty rain added charm to the scenery of small bridges, flowing streams, lush green rice fields, and old houses with clean, weathered bricks and tiles, creating a tranquil and soothing atmosphere. After a tiring evening stroll, we soaked in the hot spring at the guesthouse. We opted for the Hot Sea Sulfur Spring, which had excellent water quality, leaving our skin smooth and refreshed. The guesthouse paid great attention to every detail and was conveniently located near Wild Duck Lake. When we were tired from exploring, the friendly housekeeper would drive a sightseeing car to pick us up. During our three-day trip to Tengchong, we spent two days in the ancient town. If you plan to visit Tengchong in summer, make sure to bring autumn clothes. At night, we didn’t need air conditioning and even used quilts. For those who are sensitive to cold, wearing a jacket is recommended.

While soaking in the hot spring, the whole person is surrounded by this tranquility, all worries dissipate with the heat! 🚗 The super courteous thing is that you don't have to worry about parking at all, and there is also a pick-up service, which completely solves the most headache-inducing traffic problem! 💫 Dusk is the most relaxing, soaking in the hot spring watching the sunset, stars dotted above the head, feeling the whole person is healed ~ booked a private hot spring pool in advance, enjoy the little pleasure of the world of two! 🏮 It is especially convenient to walk in Heshun Ancient Town at night, feel the fireworks of the ancient town. I was very hesitant about whether to stay in Heshun Ancient Town with my parents because I read many travel guides online that mentioned the numerous steps and slopes here. After much research, I found this guesthouse near the Yeyahu area where cars can reach the entrance, and all the scenic spots in the ancient town are nearby. So, there's no need to worry about the elderly climbing slopes. When we get tired of walking, the housekeeper can even pick us up with a golf cart. We stayed in the city on the first day and found it uninteresting with no places to visit. On the second day, we came to Heshun and decided to stay here for the rest of our trip. The environment is very beautiful, perfect for strolling, and very quiet. It's the kind of slow-paced small-town life I love. Choosing this guesthouse allows us to enjoy hot springs right in our room. The owner said the hot spring water is brought from the Hot Sea Beauty Pool, which explains why it feels so delicate and comfortable. My parents loved it. Every day, after getting tired from walking, we would find a place to enjoy some local delicacies, and then come back to soak in the hot springs at night. We felt like we didn't want to go home. In short, staying at this guesthouse in Heshun is definitely a great choice. The owner is a native of the ancient town and shared a lot about the history and culture of Heshun Ancient Town with us. The owner used to be in the tea and jade business, so we learned a lot about jade culture and enjoyed many good teas from the owner. We were very satisfied and will recommend this place to our friends next time.
