Hotel Forza Nagasaki: Comfort, Convenience & Castella Right at Your Doorstep
We booked Hotel Forza Nagasaki during our stay in the city, and looking back—it was absolutely the right choice. The rooms were surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards, and everything was clean and well-maintained. One thing we really appreciated was the layout: the bath and toilet were separated, which made things much more convenient when getting ready. The bathroom was designed in a style similar to a traditional onsen, with a stool and hand-held shower for washing before soaking in the deep tub. It was a lovely touch that added a relaxing, Japanese feel to the stay.
The hotel lobby is located on the 4th floor, and one small perk we enjoyed was the free hot drinks corner—coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available throughout the day for guests. It made for a cozy break after coming back from a long day out.
But what truly stood out was the location. Hotel Forza is right in the heart of the Hamamachi shopping arcade, putting us steps away from endless food options, cafes, and local shops. It was incredibly convenient—whether we were grabbing breakfast, a late-night bite, or shopping for souvenirs. Some of Nagasaki’s famous castella cake shops were also nearby, which made picking up gifts for friends and family super easy. And having convenience stores just across the street was another bonus.
On top of all that, the front desk staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly.
Overall, Hotel Forza Nagasaki delivered on comfort, location, and hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the city.
