This time, we went to "Horinji Temple" in Waseda, which is famous for its flower water basin, which has been a hot topic on social media and TV.
The temple faces a wide road and is on a slight hill, so you have to climb some stairs, but don't worry, it's not a lot of climbing 😁
First of all, the colorful Japanese umbrellas on the ceiling at the entrance really get you excited. They match the temple really well and make you feel "Japanese".
There is a water basin on the right, which is also colorfully decorated with flowers 💐 and Japanese umbrellas ☂️, making it a photogenic spot‼ ️
On the left side, there are many cute ornaments, making it a space where you can enjoy collaboration with flowers.
There are flower water basins placed all over the temple grounds, so you can enjoy the flowers and take photos.
However, the only disappointing thing was that I visited here in early May 2024 on a weekday, so since the flowers are living things, many of them were wilting, and it seemed a little less gorgeous than what I saw on social media 😂
But, it's the season, and they seem to change the flower water basin frequently, taking into consideration the period when the flowers are healthy, so I would like to visit again at a different time.
If you have the chance, you should definitely go there as the seasons change and you can enjoy the beautiful flowers of the time, and it's also a photogenic spot‼ ️
They announce the flower changes on "Horinji Instagram"📢, so don't miss the information‼ ️
