Cloud's Eye: A City of Light and Shadow Viewed from Taipei 101
To catch an early flight, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Taoyuan International Airport. The hotel features a modern and minimalist design, conveniently located near the airport yet remarkably quiet, making it the perfect transition point for both departure and return. After organizing my luggage, I boarded the high-speed rail to Taipei, embarking on today's sky-high adventure.
From the Taipei 101 Observatory, I gazed upon the entire city—a unique perspective where the bustling urban life intertwines with historical layers. The city unfolded like a puzzle, with verdant mountains in the distance and the Tamsui River winding like a silver ribbon. Standing at a height of 508 meters, the world seemed to pause, granting me an unprecedented sense of openness and tranquility. Returning to the Hyatt for the night, I watched planes take off and land outside the window, yet felt an extraordinary sense of peace and ease within.
