[Mushroom Doctor Museum]
#JapanTravelStrategy
This facility is adjacent to the Ibaraki Botanical Garden in Naka City, Ibaraki Prefecture (currently closed as of July 2025 due to renovations and other work), and is a place where you can learn about mushrooms and forests.
The types and forms of mushrooms, wild vegetables, lacquer, bamboo, and more, their relationship with humans, and the role of forests are explained in an easy-to-understand manner through videos and models.
The atmosphere is one that even children can enjoy, with animals hiding in large trees.
The interior of the building is lit up with fantastic lighting, making it seem like you've wandered into a mysterious world.
