This is Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It's a little over an hour by car or 30 minutes by train from Tenjin. Kurume is a very famous city with many famous people, and it's the birthplace of ramen 🍜 When you think of Kurume, you think of Yakitori Darum! You should definitely try it 😌 And Kurume's Suitengu Shrine is also famous. There are long lines during the New Year holidays, and the Chikugo fireworks in the summer.

#AutumnTrip Tanushimaru, Kurume City is a fruit kingdom. Here, I visited the sesame shochu brewery Beniotome Shuzo and Kyoho wine made from Kyoho grapes. I can't handle alcohol, but there are many sweet and easy-to-drink drinks here. I tried a few, and even though I'm a lightweight, I could handle the wine baby. The Halloween decorations were cute. One of the two major fireworks festivals in Fukuoka, the Chikugo River Fireworks Festival The 2022 festival will be the first in three years.
