[2025 Nisshin Attraction] Travel Guide for Iwasaki Castle Ruins Park (Updated Jul)

Heading straight to Toyota City. Due to time constraints, I skip visiting the actual manhole at Toyota Stadium and instead collect two manhole cards. There's a free exhibition showcasing hundreds of figures, which is quite enjoyable. After the free exhibition, I move on to Nisshin City. I take a taxi to Iwasaki Castle, a castle with a keep and a rich history, considered one of the most beautiful castles in Aichi Prefecture. Currently, admission is free, and there are no staff present. Despite this, the facilities are clean, and the keep is open for free, allowing visitors to climb up. It's truly a hidden gem. The castle is accessible by bus from Nagoya Hoshigaoka. On the first day, I return to my hotel in Nagoya using buses and the subway. Thank you.

Sadly, there are no English instructions or signs so Japanese is needed. You can explore the remodelled Castle.A nice little castle, where a good samurai used to live. The bad samurai who lived in Osaka tried to kill the good samurai. Luckily the good samurai had many friends. They helped him commit seppuku, by giving him a very sharp katana and one friend took the task upon him to chop off his head . That's iwasaki castle, a symbol of friendship.

Iwasaki Castle Site Park This is a light-up event that colors Iwasaki Castle with lights that change into various colors. You have to do a self-temperature check before you can enter, so there was a line. Projection mapping images of digital art content were projected onto the castle tower of Iwasaki Castle, a symbol of Nisshin City and the site of the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute during the Sengoku period. It was very elegant and beautiful✨. I bought a 500 yen castle seal, which shows pictures under black light, as a souvenir.
