Noksan-ro is already famous for its canola flowers and cherry blossoms in spring, right? But did you know that the hydrangea road in early summer is equally breathtaking? The hydrangeas lining both sides of the road stretch endlessly alongside the long, straight road, creating a stunning view. It's the kind of road that makes you marvel even while driving. Many people stop their cars briefly to take photos, and once you see it, you'll understand why. Although the hydrangeas are starting to dry out and the season is nearing its end, it's not too late yet! In fact, now might be the perfect time to visit, as it's less crowded but still full of charm. If you're in Jeju, I wholeheartedly recommend it! This is something you have to experience for yourself. This "구제주포차" located in the old Jeju city is one of the surprises that we unexpectedly discovered during this trip to Jeju. That night, we originally just wanted to find a place to have a simple midnight snack, and accidentally walked around this seemingly ordinary little canteen near Dongmun Market. The sign reads "구제주포차" in large letters, and the red lights seem to be waving to night travelers. There are also several groups of locals chatting enthusiastically at the door, making people want to get in and experience it. As soon as you walk into the store, it seems as if time has gone back to the roadside stalls in Korea in the 1980s and 1990s. The overall layout is full of nostalgia, and the walls are covered with retro Korean posters and idol signatures, as if every inch of the space has a story. There is no gorgeous decoration, but it is full of human touch and fireworks. We ordered a plate of spicy stir-fried rice cakes, a plate of fried rice, and a cold beer. The dishes were served unexpectedly fast. The red sauce of the rice cakes was still bubbling slightly on the iron plate, which made people's appetites grow. The sauce of the spicy rice cakes was the traditional sweet and spicy flavor. The rice cakes were chewy and tasty. At the end, I felt like I had accidentally eaten the whole plate. The fried rice was fried with leftover sauce and seaweed. The rice crust was full of aroma, the rice grains were distinct, and every bite had a strong wok flavor. It was simple but amazing. As for beer, it was of course the perfect match. A mouthful of cold foam immediately cooled the spiciness in my mouth and cured the fatigue of the whole night. From time to time, laughter and "건배 (cheers)" from the next table came from me, making me unconsciously integrate into the late-night rhythm of Jeju. Although this store is not big and is not a popular check-in hotspot for Internet beauties, the charm of "being conquered as soon as you walk in" is really hard to describe in words. 📍Chaesek Today, I’d like to introduce you to a café called Chaesek! This place is famous for selling cakes made from rice. Because of its popularity, it’s often crowded on weekends, and I’ve had to wait for a table. After failing to get a seat twice, I decided to visit during a less busy weekday afternoon, and I was able to enjoy my time there without the crowd. I tried the strawberry cake along with coffee. The cake, made from rice, was fluffy, easy to digest, and absolutely delightful. The quality was so good that I couldn’t even tell the difference from regular cakes! Personally, I’m a big fan of the cakes sold at Chaesek. If you’re someone who loves cakes, I think this café is definitely worth a visit.

#Emotional Cafe 📍Cafe Campo The cafe I'm introducing today is Campo located in Odong-dong! I think it's amazing that there are so many cafes in such wide and unique spaces in Jeju Island these days. This cafe is also located in Jeju City, but it's very spacious. The entrance reminds me of the theme park Caribbean Bay~ Once you go inside, it's very spacious and there are many seats and tables. There were various desserts, and they also sell a variety of drinks! I ordered flower tea, and it tasted really unique. Actually, I don't really like flower-scented tea, so it wasn't my taste, but my friend was very satisfied!

📍Butternut Introducing Butternut Café, a place famous for its desserts! As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a wide variety of desserts, all looking incredibly delicious. Among them, I decided to order the Strawberry Cheese Pie and a Caramel Latte. :) The Caramel Latte had a sweet and nutty flavor that I really enjoyed, and the Strawberry Cheese Pie was delightful with its smooth cheese taste and the perfect harmony of fresh cream.

This newly built cafe boasts a spacious and clean interior. The vibrant colors throughout the space make it visually appealing as well. I ordered a cheesecake and an iced Americano. The cheesecake was made with a rich cream cheese base, and the iced Americano was delicious too.

The cafe I'm going to introduce to you this time is very spacious and comfortable, so it's one of the best cafes to work in. It's a cafe near Jeju Nam Elementary School. They mainly sell tea, and unlike tea houses, the interior is very spacious and looks like a sophisticated cafe:) We ordered tea and Hoji Oreum. We ordered drip coffee, iced Americano, and gelato. :) The gelato was great because you could choose two flavors. We were craving something sweet and tangy, so we went with raspberry and a sweet nut-flavored gelato. Overall, the coffee had a noticeable acidity. While machine-extracted coffee had less acidity, the drip coffee had a stronger acidic profile!

Though the interior isn’t very spacious, it’s cozy and features a natural decor that I really liked. :) Since hand-drip coffee is their specialty, I decided to order it. The rich and nutty aroma of the coffee filled the cafe, making the experience even more satisfying, and the coffee itself was delicious. :) If you’re looking for a cafe to visit near Inje, I highly recommend this place.

#Emotional Cafe 📍Jeonggwanheon This is a cafe that exudes a very antique and luxurious feel. It is located near Jungang Girls' High School, so it is easy to get to and it is also a good place to go by bus or on foot. The interior is very spacious and has many colorful and gorgeous interiors:) It felt like experiencing being a princess in the Middle Ages! There were many types of desserts, but I ordered Basque Cheesecake and Ice Americano. The coffee was a little sour, but it wasn't uncomfortable. The Basque Cheesecake had a really strong cheese flavor:)
