I tried traveling abroad alone for the first time in my life.
As soon as I arrived, I was lost, but there were still places I could stop by
I was confused at first because I didn't even speak English at all, but what the heck, I was already here! I went into a beef noodle restaurant without thinking...!! It was more delicious than I expected ㅋㅋ
While buying the subway ticket, I didn't know where to buy the Shanghai Pass, so I used a taxi driver who pretended to be kind(?) to find out where to buy the Shanghai Pass and then threw it away. I received help from a kind Westerner, but in the end, I found it myself and bought the Maglev ticket and successfully boarded!
The Maglev Maglev was really fast. Still, I had a good time looking around. After that, I rode the Shanghai subway, but the security guards' inspection was terrible. I was nervous because I thought they'd take away my three bottles of medicine for my chronic illness.
Anyway, I arrived at the Century Avenue Station where the hotel is!
Here, I'm smoking a cigarette in front of the subway station.
It was drizzling. Still, the night view of the high-rise buildings was really nice.
The distance from Xinshengdao Station to the hotel was not far. I intentionally took the subway instead of taking a taxi. I thought it was a really good decision.
Not only did I learn how to ride the Shanghai subway, but I also got to experience bumping into foreigners, and I gave my opinion at the meeting yesterday. ✌️ The scenery around Xinshengdao was not that unfamiliar to me, who comes from a big city.

Arrived at the hotel! I happened to get a 5-star hotel with breakfast for a cheap price, and when I told the hotelier that it was my first time traveling to China and I really wanted to have a great experience, he said, “I want to give you a beautiful view and the best experience,” and upgraded me to an executive room on the 40th floor out of 41 floors. 🥹 I don’t usually write reviews, but the only thing I can give him is five stars… I liked the person’s sincere kindness and effort more than the upgrade.
After taking a bath, I went to a club with information I got from a friend because it was late at night. My back and legs didn’t hurt that day, maybe because of the bath. Anyway, I tend to ignore people around me and dance because clubs are places for exercise.
I came out after having a lot of fun, but the induction stove broke down while I was waiting for street food, so I ended up talking to a lot of people. These enterprising and reckless people are especially the most dopamine-inducing and the most focused when they talk to someone they’ve just met. And when they’re drunk. That’s when I was able to have a conversation where we focus on each other, and that’s when I was able to do it. Physically, it was shallower than any other relationship, but Lucky Vicky healing conversation time ㅋㅋ
I was so tired that I rode Didi back,
and this is how I ended the morning.🌛
