Take the train from Chiang Mai to Lampang for 2 days and 1 night.
🐴Start by taking the earliest train, 3rd class, 23 baht (Chiang Mai-Lampang)
🐴When we arrived, we stopped by the market near the train station, then went into the city by
🐴Take a songthaew for 20 baht each. We got off at PP.P., a fun, modern PP.P. with lots of things to do. Go check it out. I like that you can listen to the accents of people from each district of Lampang.
🐴After that, we walked to eat at the Yen Ta Fo chain.
🐴After eating, we walked around the market - along the river, and found a cafe.
🐴Stopped by a cafe called Papa Craft: a beautiful shop, pleasing to the eye, lots of toys, peaceful, by the river. The people I went with even fell asleep waiting.
🐴After playing enough, we walked to check in to our accommodation and rested until the evening.
🐴Went to Kad Kong Ta.
🐴Leave a bit later in the morning, go to the train station and return to Chiang Mai. Leave the accommodation around 9 am. The train seems to be at noon (I forgot)
🐎The whole trip was walking. It was so much fun.

Kad Kong Ta, Lampang Walking Street
🌈Kad Kong Ta is a market in the alley of the pier. It is an old market area located parallel to the Wang River. In the past, it was a very prosperous market since the reign of King Rama V because Lampang used to be the center of trade in the North.
🌸Most of the trade usually took place along the banks of the Wang River, and the Chinese were the largest group of traders, until it became a large Chinese community. The locals therefore called Kad Kong Ta the Chinese Market.
⭐️This old market road is full of beautiful houses in various styles, including Thai, Chinese, and Western styles, because at that time Western royal traditions were popular. There are also ancient buildings that are over a hundred years old.
🍁Later, Kad Kong Ta became an old area that had become sluggish over time until the people in the community revived the old buildings to be lively again by organizing a walking street for vendors to bring their products to sell, starting from the beginning of the road at the foot of the Ratsada Bridge, extending almost to the end of the road, which is very long, attracting tourists. Every Saturday and Sunday night, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. ✏️Walking around Kad Kong Ta Market is a must-see in Lampang.

Mong Ngwe Sin Cafe in a 111-year-old Gingerbread Building
A coffee shop that retains the old-fashioned feel of a gingerbread building, built around 1908. It is a gingerbread house with a Manila-style roof, half-concrete, half-wood, with beautiful fretwork patterns, including floral patterns, curled stem patterns, decorative patterns, animal patterns, and even the eye-catching symbol ‘MNZ’, the abbreviation of ‘Moung Ngwe Zin’.
The interior of the coffee shop is decorated in an old atmosphere, giving the impression of an ancient building with a warm feeling. The coffee and cakes here are also very delicious.
