#EnjoyJapan Zunda and beef tongue, to Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots🍃✨ Sendai, about an hour and a half from Tokyo by Shinkansen, is the perfect spot for a girls' trip where you can enjoy both gourmet food and spectacular views💯 Here's a girls' trip plan that you can enjoy even on a day trip✍️💞 First thing in the morning, we headed to the famous zunda mochi shop "Murakamiya Mochiten"🌿 It's so popular that there are lines even before opening on weekdays, and the combination of freshly made mochi and fragrant zunda was amazing💚 After a stroll around Sendai Station, we had the famous beef tongue for lunch! This time we went to "Tan-ya Zenjiro"🥩 The charcoal-grilled aroma and thick, juicy meat were exquisite✨ The beef tongue and grated yam set was a great way to recharge our energy! In the afternoon, we took the train to Matsushima🚃 One of Japan's three most scenic spots, the scenery of the islands floating in the sea is just too beautiful...! At "Entsuin Temple", the moss-covered garden and autumn leaves are so beautiful that you can't help but be enchanted🍁 At "Kanrantei", we enjoyed matcha tea and Japanese sweets while looking at the sea, and had a relaxing adult time🍵 After that, we boarded a sightseeing boat and enjoyed the spectacular view of Matsushima from the sea🛳️✨ As we were rocked by the waves, we were soothed by the beauty of nature's sculptures~🌊 On the way back, we had sushi time at Sendai Station until the last minute before the Shinkansen train time🍣 At "Sushi Street" inside the station, you can easily enjoy high-quality sushi, which is a great point! It was moved to the domain residence in Shinagawa, Edo, and then moved here by the second domain lord, Tadamune, without changing a single stone. Currently, Kanrantei serves matcha tea and other drinks, so you can relax and unwind from your travels. ■Admission fee 200 yen for adults, 150 yen for high school and university students, 100 yen for elementary and junior high school students The children's song "Donguri Korokoro" was written by Matsushima-cho native Aoki Noriyoshi during the Taisho era when he was working at the Ministry of Education, in memory of his childhood in Matsushima. There is a monument to the song on the grounds of Kanrantei.
