Kenwood House is a stately home located on the edge of Hampstead Heath in London. It was constructed in the 17th century and served as the home of Earl of Mansfield during 18th and 19th centuries. The easiest way to get to Kenwood House is by public transportation. Get on the northern line to Golders Green station, then change to bus 210 and get off at Kenwood House bus stop, and walk another 2-3 minutes to the entrance. The ground is quite big so it takes another 5 - 10 minutes to walk in the forest road before reaching the House and the beautiful flower garden. As with many museums in London, there is no entrance fee to visit the home. simply book tickets until 8:45am. There are guided tours at specific hour and it’s a good way to learn more about the historic home. After the indoor tour, make sure to check out the garden. I visited in late spring and there were so many colourful Rhodendendrum in every corner. There is also an outdoor cafe that operates from 9-6pm. The Kenwood House is often considered a hidden gem in London.
