#Tokyo Attractions Lake Yamanaka is a freshwater lake on the Yamanashi side of Mount Fuji in Japan. It is one of the Fuji Five Lakes, the largest lake among the Fuji Five Lakes, and the highest lake among the Fuji Five Lakes. It is the third highest lake in Japan. However, it is also the shallowest lake among the Fuji Five Lakes and is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. The Koi Pier is located next to Lake Yamanaka, where thousands of koi gather. In addition, if you walk straight toward the Hiranohama for about six minutes, you will see the waterside park trail (there are many pools of water and swans along the way, but few people). Here I can enjoy many swans all to myself, and any photos I take will be very good. The mountains and water here complement each other beautifully, the waves are sparkling, and there are not many tourists, so you can enjoy taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. There are several parks by the lake, such as the City of Love Park. There is plenty of sunshine, clear sky and warm lake water. People even step on the water barefoot and happily pick up conches. Romantic. I want to go back again. Walking around the lake was a great experience, and we were lucky with the weather, so the view of Mount Fuji that day was clear and fantastic. The late cafe had a great view and offered good food and coffee. There was also a 7-11 next to the lake, with all my favorite food and drinks, along with a great latte from the self-service machine ;) First of all, the area is probably one of the best places to take really candid photos of Mount Fuji from below. There are also a few very nice hot springs (onsen) in the restaurants, which offer a lot of diversity and a wonderful break experience. The lake itself was very beautiful just to wander around and enjoy the scenery, so if you plan to stay overnight, it would be worth staying somewhere close to the shore. This is my second self-drive holiday trip to Lake Yamanaka. You can get the opportunity to take breathtaking photos of Mount Fuji around the lake. Drive slowly, stop and enjoy the scenery. You can go on a swan boat cruise. There is a black sand beach where you can stop, buy snacks, and feed the huge fish in the lake with breadcrumbs. They come up to the shore. Then drive to nearby Lake Kawaguchi.

It was around 9 o'clock when we arrived at Mount Fuji. This time we went to some scenic spots that we didn't go to last time. My route: Tokyo - Lawson Convenience Store - Oishi Park - McDonald's - Yamanakako - The park lunch - Asagiri Park - Makaino Farm - Tokyo. I recommend everyone to go to McDonald’s to take pictures of Mount Fuji 🍟 Rosen is so bad, hahaha, no one took pictures of McDonald’s! Take photos as you like📷 Then I must take pictures of swans when I go to Yamanakako🦢Although I still didn’t take pictures of swans the second time I went there hahaha🤣 The last two places were recommended by others. In fact, I don’t really recommend them. First, they are far away and it takes more than an hour to drive. Second, there is really no need to go there, haha. It may also be because the season is not right😄 If I go to Mount Fuji next time, I will choose to stay one night and soak in the hot springs~

It is said that it is the highest of the Fuji Five Lakes, at about 1000m above sea level. R GARDEN is located about a 5-minute walk from the shore of Lake Yamanaka. The temperature is lower than in Tokyo during the day, and the breeze is pleasant, so I was surprised at how comfortable it was.... It may not have as many bustling shops or tourist attractions as Kawaguchiko, but it gives a sense of true “peace”. 🌅 What makes this place so lovable is the image of Mount Fuji reflected on the water surface on a clear day — nothing more than that, just a still, beautiful and clear Fuji that seems to be within reach with the eyes. Especially in the morning, when the soft golden light shines down, the water surface sparkles slightly, and the gentle waves look like the mountain is breathing. 👣 There are long and quiet walking paths and cycling trails around the lake, perfect for those who want to be alone and walk without a destination. Sometimes there are flowers along the way, sometimes there are waterfowl floating still in the middle of the lake, a beautiful but emotional scene. 🚤 If you want to see the view up close, there are duck boats, sightseeing boats, or even kayaking activities to try out lightly. My first experience of visiting Mt. Fuji by renting a car. This trip, we rented a car from Tokyo-Kawaguchiko. It took ~ 2 hours. If you want to rent a car, don't worry because Japan is very orderly. Just study the traffic rules and you will be worry-free. 💖 We drove around the lakes. The day we went, the sky was overcast and it rained a little. At first, I was discouraged, so I parked my car and sat at Lake Yamanakako, took pictures, and waited for about 1 hour. The sky cleared up like in the picture. This is the sky after the rain, it's really beautiful. ✨ If you are going to visit Uncle Fuji, I recommend renting a car.
