Waiting for the flight in the lounge
Sala VIP T3 is the lounge available to access with most lounge cards in the international (non low cost) terminal at Malaga Costa del Sol Airport.
The lounge is open daily from 06:00 am until 23:00 pm and is accessible 4 hours prior the scheduled flight.
The lounge itself does not offer big surprises. The food selection is quite limited, especially during the morning hours until about 11 am (breakfast time). The area is big so even when quite crowded, the lounge doesn’t feel so full. But the queues to access food and drinks can be quite long as they are packed to quite small area.
However I like to stay in the lounge because it gives a solo traveler more safety to leave the bags and grab the food and drinks. As the staff announces all the boarding events it’s also hard to miss the flight if you keep your ears open.
The lounge is located just above the security check and duty free shop. After the security check you have the mandatory visit to duty free shop (annoying but more and more common). Then just use one of the available ways to access the second floor (for example go towards Burger King). The entrance to the lounge is just opposite to the Burger King restaurant.

[Spain] Malaga waiting area
I went to Malaga, located in the Andalusia region of Spain! It's a cheerful city with beaches, and is loved by many tourists. ✨🙋
I visited in early July, but it was so hot that I gave up on the beach... There are many other things to see in Malaga besides the beach! For example, it is famous as the city where Picasso was born, and there is the Picasso Museum. There are also castles and fortresses, so it is recommended for those who are interested in ruins. 🙆♀️
There are also areas lined with large department stores and brand shops, so you are sure to enjoy shopping! ! ! !
If you are using Malaga Airport, why not take a tour of Malaga as well? ?
