When you come to Nagoya, you can’t help but visit the three ways to eat eel rice. But I had to wait in line for more than 2 hours at a famous store so I gave up decisively. So we came to Maruya Unagi Rice at JR Nagoya Station. I didn't expect to have to queue even after meal time. But luckily it was only 30 minutes. I ordered the eel rice which has the smallest eel and rice portion. I want to try it and not eat too much. Because I still want to eat chicken wings for midnight snack. I think their eel rice tastes a bit bland. Compared to the Bincho Eel rice I had in Tokyo before, I prefer the heavier flavor of Bincho Eel Rice. We also ordered eel tamagoyaki. I also ordered grilled chicken wings which I liked as well. Maruya Unagi Rice has a 4.3-star rating on Google. Whether it tastes good or not is a matter of personal opinion.
