[2025 Tebrau Hotels] Travel Guide for Midori Concept Hotel (Updated Jul)

The room was really clean and comfy! I wiped down the table surfaces when I checked in and there was barely any dust on the wet wipe. The floor and bathroom were pristine as well. There was some mold stains in the bathroom but the actual mold had been cleaned away. There was also no weird smell from the drainage or dust mites like some reviews had mentioned. Great location with lots of eateries and a KTV nearby. #malaysia

Pros: It feels like you are staying in a 5-star hotel at a 3-star price. The concept is green and classy. Everything is brand-new. Cons: Water heater not functioning, Informed the hotel reception about it. Not much view from the hotel window. We found that the rooms are a little small for a “suite”. Thanks for following @berrysurprise and let me bring you to Johor Bahru, it is a short ride across Singapore-Johor Causeway. Taking the train into Johor Bahru is the quickest way during peak period. For this #hotelreview I will showcase Midori Concept Hotel. It is located at Austin area, about 30 to 35 mins drive away from the popular JB Citysquare. Over here at Austin, there is no large shopping centers, but it has many shop houses. There are also many boutique hotels similar to Midori Concept Hotel too. I am at one of their suite rooms today and each suite room is different theme. I look up the different types of suites on their website and requested for their zebra theme suite room. It has a wine chiller in the room too. The highlight of this room is the free-standing bathtub. A bit pity that this hotel does not have great views. However, the theme room is an interesting concept. My stay was in September 2023 and I paid $98.51 for 1 night after using promo codes.

One of the best bathrooms we got in jb hotels so far. Love the deep stand-alone bathtub which the toddler enjoys everyday during our stay. The suite room has a window overseeing a mini garden in the air well. Forgot to take photos of the king bedroom but you can find them online easily. The green walls at the lift lobby is classy with the horse statue outside the hotel. Don’t forget to visit the western restaurant linked to the hotel and present your room key for a discount with great service staff.
