Finding a perfect balance between internationalization and local heritage, the artwork is easy to understand. The building's exterior has an exquisite diamond pattern, like handmade patterns on Thai silk. A closer look reveals grids of windows that open up along the road, leading visitors into the museum's courtyard. There is a large pool in the courtyard, with sculptures of all sizes scattered around the pool and its edges. You can enjoy them slowly while drinking a cup of good coffee. In the exhibition, you can see the artist deepening and expanding the initial ideas through large sculptures and installations. The installation art highlights the impact of overconsumption, encouraging viewers to become aware of the effects of today's lifestyle on the environment. Walking into what seems like a chaotic pile of garbage, and carefully reading the text on the signs, the underlying environmental issues are quite thought-provoking. Since you've come all the way to Moca Bangkok, it's worth taking a look around, even if it's just a quick glance. It's quite novel.

#2024Travel Review #Bangkok Contemporary Art Museum Moca Bangkok, one of the five well-known art centers in Bangkok, is relatively remote and is close to Don Mueang Airport. The transportation was originally inconvenient, but after the red line railway of Don Mueang Airport was opened, it became easy to get there in an instant! Moca Bangkok has a great collection of sculptures and paintings, including modern art and traditional art. The five-story exhibition area is quite spacious and air-conditioned, making it very comfortable to browse. There is a huge sculpture like Sakyamuni in the pool at the entrance? It is basically a photo-taking spot for Internet beauty. The entire art museum is mostly visited by young people, and of course many of them come to take beautiful photos! It’s really easy to shoot. In comparison, BACC Bangkok Art and Culture Center, Moca Bangkok really wins, especially the level and details of the exhibits, which are all Bangkok's master level. BACC seems a bit casual in comparison. Spend a morning wandering around, pretending to cultivate an artistic temperament, even if you just take a look at the flowers, it is worth it. Suddenly, I discovered the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) The exterior of the art gallery itself is like a work of art. The sculpture at the entrance is in no way inferior to European art galleries and does not look out of place with the surrounding buildings! The light and shadow design in the museum is definitely the atmosphere that detail-conscious people are looking for~ The entire museum is divided into five floors, each floor is filled with different artistic styles and themes. The exhibitions and events here are constantly updated, including various types of art such as painting, sculpture, photography and multimedia art. Personally, I like the oil painting layer the most (Figure 6) because it can be easily photographed and the light is super good. After visiting the exhibition, remember to take photos standing on the stairs on the fifth floor and you will get the blockbuster photo in the first picture. I went to there by BTS & Bus Number (510). As for as I know they charged 180 THB for the general public and 80 THB for students. The place is extremely large and all of the paints are exquisitely beautiful. There is 5 floors in total, and each floor has different kind of meaning of painting. Bangkok Architecture Walk 🚶‍♂️ MOCA (Bangkok Museum of Contemporary Art) The exterior is a white exterior wall with only a few diamond-shaped windows. Next to the entrance is a pond with a white monument designed with lotus flowers. The geometric landscape resonates with the building, and is the work of designer Wannaporn Pornprapa, who studied landscape at Harvard after graduating from Thailand's prestigious Chulalongkorn University. The pure white lobby connected to the eaves that protrude like a plate gives a hint of art, and a lone bronze statue stands out. The high-ceilinged lobby conveys the scale of the building, and the diamond-shaped skylight seen far above casts a geometric shadow on the white wall. The interior is white just like the exterior. The common areas, with escalators and large staircases lined up side by side, are repeated in the same position on each floor, making the clear traffic flow plan easy to understand even for first-time visitors. Starting from the common areas, walking around each floor, you will find easy-to-understand contemporary art works lined up at a moderate density. The rectangular room has a lighted ceiling, and the black-painted ceiling can be seen through the huge see-through louvers. The rational interior is reminiscent of the exterior. The floors are red and black to break the monotony of all-white, and there are also accents here and there, such as a reproduction of an ancient Thai building, and a long painting placed in an open void. Taking the escalators one after another, we approach the top. When we reach the top, the skylight is, as expected, white and modest. First-class architecture, first-class exhibition content, second-class location, and moderate prices. The building was built by the president of dtac, one of the major mobile phone carriers in the Kingdom of Thailand, with his own money, and the works of the best contemporary Thai artists that he has collected are on display.
