Free admission‼️【📍Hokkaido】A spectacular view of 2,000 cows roaming freely on the largest ranch in Japan, the size of 385 Tokyo Domes🐄🐄🐄
Naitai Terrace is the largest public ranch in Japan, covering an area of about 1,700 hectares in Hokkaido. "Naitai" means "deep valley" in Ainu.
About 2,000 cows graze on the ranch, and the 7km road that runs from the entrance gate to an altitude of 800m is a spectacular driving road.
You can see the cows eating their meals leisurely.
It's amazing that you can see such a spectacular view for free! Entering through the entrance that looks like a stylish hotel, you will find a rest space with a full glass wall that offers a panoramic view of the Naitai Plateau. There is also a cafe where you can enjoy gourmet food made with locally produced ingredients☕️
The recommendation is [Ushi Soft Serve🐄] 450 yen each Vanilla is "white", chocolate is "black", and the mix is "Ushi" - names unique to the farm🤍🖤 The rich milk flavor and bitter chocolate were delicious🥹
If you're hungry, there are also hamburgers, roast beef sandwiches, and loco moco rice bowls made with Naitai Wagyu beef🙆 You can also enjoy drinking specialty products such as coffee made with soybeans from Kamishihoro and freshly squeezed milk🥰
And if you go down the stairs from the observation terrace, you'll be right there at the farm! It was a great spot to relax while watching the cows living freely in a place with nothing but nature as far as the eye can see☝️
I also recommend the nearby gelato shop, Dream Dolce🍨📍NAITAI TERRACE 128-5 Kamiotofuke, Kamishihoro-cho, Kato-gun, Hokkaido Business period: April 29th to November 1st Gate opening time: 7:00 to 18:00 (June to September 7:00 to 19:00) Naitai Terrace business hours: 9:00 to 17:00 Closed: Open every day during the period (subject to change depending on the weather)
