We grabbed fresh trdelník and admired the fairy-tale spires of Týn Church. Charles Bridge 🌉 Walking across this 14th-century masterpiece with street musicians and golden hour light? Unreal. Kampa Island 🐹 A peaceful park escape — and guess what? We met the cutest nutria animals by the riverbank! Check out the last photo! Dancing House 🕺 A modern twist in a historic city. We sipped coffee from the rooftop and watched the Vltava flow beneath us. Dinner & Czech Beer 🍽️🍺 Ended the day with classic svíčková (beef in creamy sauce), dumplings, and crisp Czech Pilsner — it really does hit different here. 📍 Day 2 – Castle Dreams & Storybook Streets Prague Castle & St. Vitus Cathedral 🏰 One of the biggest castle complexes in the world, with jaw-dropping views and the gothic grandeur of St. Vitus — wow! It reminds me of Cologne Cathedral - this is a cannon miss place in Prague! 🏞Perfect time to go and chill out on the Vltava River with your lads on private pedal boats. Entering the castle, the majestic silhouette of St. Vitus Cathedral took my breath away. Its Gothic spires pierced the sky, and sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows cast a kaleidoscope of colors, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. At the Red Tree Chair in Prague, we spent about half an hour slowly climbing to the highest point in order to see the most beautiful scenery. At that moment, I sat quietly on a high place, gazing at the beautiful panoramic view of Prague, my heart filled with peace and satisfaction. The charm of this city is really indescribable. Its history and scenery made me deeply feel the unique charm of the Czech Republic. I think if I had more time, I could experience every corner of this city in more detail, and it would really be worth staying a few more days. #JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 After leaving Hasstatt, Austria, we took a shuttle to the fairytale town of Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. On the recommendation of the B&B owner, we visited Pivovarská Restaurace, the restaurant where he used to work, to taste the most authentic Czech beer and pork dishes. It was really the best portrayal of eating meat and drinking with big mouthfuls of wine! Pivovarská Restaurace has a very large brewery, and the restaurant looks like a cellar, as if you are dining in a historic beer brewing factory. The environment is quite relaxing and cozy, and it is super chill whether you are indoors or outdoors. Czech beer is really delicious and cheap, with the smallest cup starting at 500cc. It is very sweet and smooth, and cheaper than water! The pork dishes were also amazing. We ordered a large platter of various cooking methods. There were chewy, dense, and crispy pork dishes. All of them tasted delicious. Even the side dish of wasabi mashed potatoes was very appetizing.
