It’s not Suzhou, it’s a niche and treasured garden museum in Ningbo ||

Have you heard of Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo? In fact, Tianyi Pavilion is considered a private garden. Have you heard of Ningbo’s Moon Lake and Dongqian Lake? In fact, they all belong to public gardens❗And Tiantong Temple, Baoguo Temple, Ashoka Temple, and the three major temples in Ningbo⛩️ all belong to temple gardens. The Qing'an Guild Hall, which has recently been renovated and is about to be closed for renovation, is also part of the garden. From this point of view, it is not surprising that there is a garden museum in Ningbo❗

The Ningbo Garden Museum is divided into two floors (I didn’t know there was another floor upstairs), with a total of 6 indoor exhibition halls and 2 outdoor exhibition gardens. It displays the development process and characteristics of each period from the gantry-style buildings in the Hemudu period to the Jiangnan gardens in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is worth a visit.
