Of course, the morning atmosphere is great, and it's worth taking your time to enjoy a cup of coffee and juice while taking in the distant green scenery. We also had dinner at the hotel, which offers a wide selection of wines and a variety of dishes. The owner once stayed in Hong Kong, China, and speaks Cantonese, so he is particularly attentive to guests from China, often serving extra dishes. You can make specific requests regarding the speed of service and taste preferences to the owner.

Took a day trip tour to Hunter Valley. The best tour guide Sam drove us from Sydney central. The ride was 2 hours. Once at the farm we got to go to 2 wine tasting sampling. Each time we had around 8 glasses. This tour comes with lunch. Love how the farm feel. So peaceful. Best time of they year to visit in Dec - Jan Where the vineyards will be filled to the brim with bunches of grapes. Visited Hunters Dream. If you are headed to the Hunter Valley wine region, particularly Pokolbin, then take my advice and go to Hunter Belle Dairy. Getting There - head north from Sydney on the Pacific Highway following the signs for Wine Country. Address - 1616 Broke Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320 Ambiance/Facilities - This cellar door style location has a wonderful cheese shop as well as a great cafe. Highlights - the cheese shop offers tastings and gelato while the cafe offers ala carte options for a light bite through to a full meal. Wine or Beer matching also available. But the star of the show here is the wonderful High Cheese offerings. Similar to a traditional high tea but focusing on the various types of cheeses offered by the Dairy. Avg. Ambiance/Facilities - comfort meets country hospitality. With a swimming pool, games area and walking distance to all Pokolbin has to offer. About 2 hours north of Sydney in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, Hope Estate is more than just your usual cellar door. Address - 2213 Broke Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320 Getting There - self drive the M1 from Sydney and follow the Wine Country signs. There are also a lot of tour operators that will do the drive for you. Attractions - Winery, brewery and distillery all in one. Hope estate offers generous tasting options of their homegrown wine and paddles of their own beers and gin/vodka. Hotels - We stayed at the nearby Mercure Hunter Valley but there are lots of options in Pokolbin and beyond. Food & Restaurants - Hope Estate of a small and simple menu but the pizzas were fresh and delicious and definitely hit the spot while tasting. A perfectly peaceful breakfast whilst staying at Chateau Elan in the Hunter Valley. We sat looking out on the gorgeous golf course, the morning was a little chilly so the staff gave us a heater to stay warm. Order the smashed avocado you won’t regret it. #tripaway#triplocal

Traveling to Sydney, in addition to local landmarks, must not be missed is a tour around Sydney. The Hunter Valley, which is more than two hours' drive from Sydney's downtown area, must be experienced. It is a famous wine region and is arguably the best wine in Australia. It is very famous. At the end of last year, my family and I went to Hunter Valley Gardens to enjoy the Christmas lights. This garden holds a grand light show every Christmas, attracting countless tourists to watch. Hunter Valley Gardens is green during the day, and the sun shines on the neatly trimmed trees and grass. Although the lights have not been turned on, you can see a variety of landscape light stands, which makes people look forward to the night view. As it is summer in the southern hemisphere, the temperature is hot during the day. We took a break in the restaurant in the park and tasted refreshing desserts and cold drinks to replenish our energy while also dispelling the heat. At night, the lights were lit one by one, and the whole garden instantly became dreamy and colorful. From the huge Christmas tree to the tunnel lights, every corner is flashing with warm lights, and the children are running and playing happily, as if they have entered a fairy tale world. Celebrating Christmas in such a warm summer night is completely different from the snowy Christmas in the northern hemisphere, but it has a unique flavor. The Christmas light show in Hunter Valley not only makes people feel the joy of the festival, but also allows us to experience the unique Christmas atmosphere of Australia. Hunter Valley Winery Wine Tasting Tour🍷 Under the endless green vineyards and clear skies, the calm and peaceful atmosphere made me feel like I was in a painting. Hehehee😆 When I entered the tasting room, there was a subtle woody scent and various wine bottles beautifully displayed. The first wine I tasted was the representative Semillon wine of Hunter Valley~🍷 The fresh citrus scent and clean acidity filled my mouth, allowing me to feel the region's unique terroir. Next, I tasted Shiraz, and the rich berry scent and spicy aftertaste were impressive~🫠 The staff explained the characteristics of each wine and the production process in detail, and it was even more interesting to hear about the history of the winery.🍇 As I savored each glass of wine, I realized how deeply connected Hunter Valley's nature and wine culture are. Hey guys👫, today I found a hidden gem - Spicers Retreats, it's amazing, I have to recommend it to you! 📍The location is perfect, hidden in the quiet mountains🌲 (or by the quiet lake, depending on the specific geography), as if isolated from the world, but not far from the surrounding villages, a short drive to explore the local customs, daily shopping is also super convenient. As soon as you get out of the car, the fresh air with the fragrance of grass and trees comes to you, and the hustle and bustle of the city is instantly left behind. 🏠The architecture of the hotel is unique, with wooden structures and brick decorations, vintage and cozy, blending into nature without losing style. Step into the room, the warm color scheme is like a gentle embrace, handmade woven carpets, solid wood furniture, each piece exudes the warmth of the craftsman; the bed is thick and soft, lying on it is like falling into a cloud, a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Each room also has its own viewing terrace, where you can quietly enjoy the changing clouds and flying birds at dawn and dusk, and your body and mind will be healed. 🍽The food is amazing! Most of the ingredients are sourced from local farms, organic vegetables and fruits, fresh meat, simply cooked to lock in the fresh flavor. The freshly baked bread for breakfast, with the aroma of wheat mixed with the aroma of butter, is crispy and crumbly; the signature stew for dinner, simmered slowly over a low fire, warms the stomach, and is served with a glass of the hotel's homemade fruit wine, slightly drunk in this leisurely time. 🎈The public facilities are super fun, with a small library full of books, where you can curl up in a corner and read ancient books and novels, enjoying the solitude; the garden is full of flowers and an open-air hot spring pool♨, where you can soak in the night and look up at the stars, your body relaxes and your thoughts drift away. There are also cute little sheep and rabbits occasionally strolling on the grass, interacting with them is super healing. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦The owner of the hotel is very enthusiastic, hand-drawing a map of the surrounding area, marking hidden waterfalls and hiking trails; at the bonfire party, playing the guitar and singing and dancing with everyone, strangers sitting around, the atmosphere is warm to the heart. #wheretogo Hunter Valley Gardens is located in Hunter Valley, a very popular place near Sydney Hunter Valley is wellknown for its vineyard. However there do set aside half a day to visit this beautiful garden. You can slowly stroll along their pathways to see the beautiful gardens with many different themes. My favourite is the story book garden where you can see humpty dumpty, jack and jill just to name a few. It is also a good way to take a break from all the wine tasting. There is about 8km of walking paths, so do set aside at least half a day to visit this place as the garden is huge, spanning across 14 hectares.

This is a hidden gem in Hunter Valley. One of the best boutique wineries we ever visited.
