Easy access by subway or bus. Bus 2200 or 7300 from Hapjeong station will get you there. After you get off you can walk about 40 minutes to the entrance of the area, then you’ll have to walk up the mountain to get to the building entrance. Or take a city bus then walk or take a shuttle bus next to Tongildongsan bus stop. The shuttle runs from noon to 1540 according to the brochure at 30 minutes increments. This place shared with the visitors the ideals of reuniting the two Koreas. There are 4 floors. B1 is a children interactive learning center. The first floor shares different statistics and facts, virtual views, and an exhibit. The second floor is the permanent exhibit with pictures of people wanting to reunite with families and letters to there hometown. There’s a cafe on the fourth floor. On the third and fourth floor there are binoculars to observe and look at the border across. I think you could feel the people’s desire to reconnect with their families. #乌山头统觀台 There are about three places in the north of Seoul where you can see North Korea. This is the Osantou Unification Observatory that I chose, which is closer to Paju. Most Koreans come here by car or with a tour group. Since I just finished visiting Heyri Art Village, I used Navermap to find that I could take bus No. 900 to the Wudu Mountain Observatory Station, and then walk for about 20 minutes to the Wudu Mountain Unification Observatory where you can see North Korea! This observatory has 4.4 stars on Google (4xxx reviews) and is considered a big attraction. The observatory does not require tickets and is very good. It is divided into four floors. The first floor is basically like a museum, recording the history of North and South Korea and the Wudu Mountain Observatory, and is accompanied by various animations about the unification of North and South Korea to explain the vision of unification. I also saw that there were special guides to assist. The second floor explains My hometown and has some historical records. The third floor is divided into indoor and outdoor observatories, and the fourth floor is an observatory plus a cafe. The cafe is large and comfortable, and there are lazy sofas to lie on. The weather is good today and you can see part of North Korea. I also took some photos of the landscape of Paju, which is not bad. I am very satisfied with it as a whole. 📍Address: Imjingak/Wudusan Due to the recent political turmoil in South Korea, the risk of North Korean troops moving south has increased. The South Korean president has closed Panmunjom, the Third Tunnel and Taesong-dong (big national flag). We can only visit some other scenic spots, but the demilitarized zone is definitely worth a visit, because the situation between North and South Korea more or less reminds people of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.

I went to Odusan Unification Observatory. You can get there by yourself by taking a train and a bus from Seoul. Anyone can enter without a reservation. In addition to the observatory, there is also a museum, which is very interesting, introducing life in North Korea. Take bus 900 from Kumchon Station on the National Railroad and get off at the last stop. There is a free shuttle bus from the last stop, but it seems that you have to call the bus, and since I didn't have a Korean phone number, I couldn't get on the shuttle bus, so I walked from the bus stop to the observatory for about 30 minutes. I went in December, so it was really cold 🥶. On the way back, I had the information desk call a shuttle bus, and I was able to go to the bus stop for free.

once arrive at parking lot , there has a free shuttle bus going up to the unification tower . the entrance fee for adult is 3000won , the ticket can buy in ticket booth .
