[2025 Hanoi ] Travel Guide for Orient Spa (Updated Jul)

Orient Spa, which boasts the highest level of satisfaction and kindness while getting one massage a day for four days. In fact, since I had visited Halong Bay that day, I didn't have a specific time to arrive in Hanoi. (It's usually fixed, but it can be up to an hour +- depending on traffic conditions.) So I couldn't make a massage reservation in advance, and I looked for a place where I could make a reservation in a hurry while driving back to Hanoi. In this case, I didn't have to go here, but I suddenly decided to visit one of the massage shops I had listed. I quickly inquired about places that accept reservations through KakaoTalk, but they said it was difficult to make reservations at the time I wanted. In the case of Orient, it was one of the places that didn't respond when I inquired through KakaoTalk. So I decided to just go there with a friend and ask if they could make a massage... (Orient Spa is located nearby, but there are many massage shops, so if it doesn't work out, I was planning to go somewhere else!) Orient has 3 branches, one is in West Lake, and the other 2 are in the west of Hoan Kiem Lake, so you can go to the one that's most convenient for you. From what I've found out, the one we visited is Branch 2, which opened more recently. I think Branch 1 is a little cheaper than Branch 2, but I'm not sure, so just use that as a reference^^; The facilities were very clean, and most importantly, the staff at the counter were very friendly. I don't think there were any staff members who could speak Korean, but they spoke English very fluently and had the easiest pronunciation to understand! Orient Spa has promotions every season. You can check the current promotions by visiting the website before you visit, so please refer to it. I also felt that the fall and winter promotions were attractive, so I chose the 60-minute body massage and 30-minute foot treatment course. When you choose a course, the front desk staff will explain the course in detail. For the body massage, you can choose between aroma and deep tissue. I chose the medium-strength aroma on this day! The foot treatment includes exfoliation and foot packs, but the exfoliation stimulation was stronger than I thought, so I was worried that I might get hurt while receiving it.. I asked them to make it a little softer in the middle. I think people with sensitive skin should ask for it to be made softer in advance! In the case of the massage, the therapist who took care of me looked tired and worn out… I asked them to make the massage a little stronger, but it was a shame. They were too thin.. But they worked really hard, so I gave them a tip of 50,000 won, but here’s where something surprising happened. At the end, when writing the evaluation, I checked my satisfaction with the massage somewhat low, so when the front desk staff asked if there was anything uncomfortable, they said, “I don’t know if it’s my imagination, but the therapist seemed tired. When I said, ‘The massage felt a bit weak,’ the manager asked me to confirm something. (I felt so sorry for the manager who did it for meㅠㅠ) But the manager admitted that I was tired and sleepy, so he said he would give me a 30% discount on the treatment I received…? Wow.. I was really surprised. It wasn’t that expensive to begin with, so I was touched for no reason because he even gave me a discount… Actually, I wasn’t that satisfied with the massage, but massages are usually a bit savage.
