A Warm Breakfast
I never thought I'd find a long queue next to a flower bed in the middle of Tenjin Central Park on a chilly morning. With a 'join the queue' mentality, I lined up and soon realized it was for bread and coffee.
The shop opens promptly at 8 AM, and the staff efficiently ushered everyone inside. Wow! The bakery has an incredible atmosphere, with light bulbs and wooden decor creating a rustic feel. The variety of sweet and savory pastries, combined with the aroma of freshly baked goods, made the place feel so cozy and inviting 😊
Wanting to experience the true taste, I chose a simple salted round bread and a scone. I also wanted to try their hand-drip coffee, so I paid for the bread first and then selected my coffee. The staff then guided me to my seat.
When the coffee and bread were served together, I discovered that they heat the bread for dine-in customers. The butter inside the salted round bread had melted completely, making it crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—absolutely delicious. The scone wasn't too sweet and had a lovely buttery flavor, perfectly complemented by the warm coffee. It was a delightful combination!
After finishing my meal, feeling full and satisfied, I walked out to find the queue had grown even longer. I was so glad I didn't miss out 😆
Just a reminder, they are closed on Mondays and the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
