Phasan Bridge 🌉 Nakhon Sawan 😍
Pasan, a symbolic building of the Chao Phraya River, is a new landmark of Pak Nam Pho. It is located at Laem Ko Yom, the confluence of the Ping and Nan Rivers, the origin of the Chao Phraya River in Nakhon Sawan Province.
Lod Pasan, an architecture at the source of the Chao Phraya River, was built to be in line with the geographical conditions of the river. The symbolic meaning is the merging of four rivers into two and forming the Chao Phraya River. During this flood season, we saw the image of Lod Pasan flooding the area under the building for the first time. This was the intention of the design to allow the building to survive even when the water level rose. The architects studied, visited the area, and measured the water level that had previously flooded.
📍✨🌙 The name “Pasan” comes from the word “Phasan”, which means “to combine”. “Pasan” means to bring people to weave and create a combination between people, places, and the environment. The building is built on an area of approximately 3 rai and is designed to curve and meet at the end, like the merging of four main rivers into two and becoming one. During the flood season, the curved part of the building will protrude above the water. Tourists can take a boat under the building to admire the beauty of its architecture. In addition to being a viewpoint and a place to relax, Phasan also has offices, exhibition rooms for history, culture, traditions, tourism, a courtyard for the installation of the Goddess of Mercy, as well as light and sound activities that show the way of life of people with water from the past to the present. Tourists can take a boat across the river to Phasan to watch the sunset, experience the beauty of the Chao Phraya River, and the way of life of people along the river at Pak Nam Pho, Nakhon Sawan.
Importantly, the creation of Lod Phasan means a lot to the people of Nakhon Sawan because in addition to being a beautiful new landmark, the land was purchased using public donations and a government budget of 117 million baht.
