- Doi Inthanon and Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon
Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand, located in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province. It was originally called "Doi Luang" or "Doi Luang Ang Ka". The name of Doi Inthanon was the name of the king named Phra Chao Inthawichayanon, the ruler of Chiang Mai.
- The Grand Morocc Hotel is located in Mae Rim District. The highlight is the Moroccan style decoration and the swimming pool in the middle of the hotel. The receptionists are lovely and take good care of you. I must say that it is not ordinary because the hotel is decorated in a magnificent way. Every particle is decorated beautifully, from the lobby to the bathroom. Every corner is beautiful. There are many photo spots. It's like Morocco was brought here.
- Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan, a second-class royal temple, is located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. The temple is about 689 meters above the Chiang Mai plain and 1,046 meters above sea level. It is one of the most important temples in Chiang Mai Province.
- Wat Umong (Suan Phutthatham) is an ancient temple located in the west of Chiang Mai City and is located at the foot of Doi Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai District. Chiang Mai Province

🙏 A Majestic Moment at Grand Pagoda Nabhapolbhumisiri
Visiting the Grand Pagoda Nabhapolbhumisiri was a highlight of our day in Chiang Mai. As we walked through the temple grounds, the towering pagoda instantly drew our attention—its white and gold façade glowed in the sunlight, and it felt like a peaceful sanctuary tucked away in the city’s energy.
Approaching the pagoda’s entrance, we noticed intricate carvings and beautifully crafted details—images of mythical creatures, lotus motifs, and softly polished marble steps. It all felt meticulously designed to encourage calm and reflection. Inside, the central shrine is simple yet elegant, and it offered a nice moment of quiet as we took a few breaths and observed devotees making merit.
The surrounding courtyard was equally lovely, with ponds, statues, and shady spots perfect for a moment of pause. My kids enjoyed collecting lotus petals floating in the water while we enjoyed the atmosphere—it felt relaxed and family-friendly.
It’s a smaller, less-visited gem, which made it feel authentic and undisturbed compared to more crowded temples. The gentle chants in the background and the soft hum of the city beyond the temple walls created a peaceful contrast.
If you’re exploring Chiang Mai and looking for spiritual spots beyond the typical tourist trail, Grand Pagoda Nabhapolbhumisiri is a serene and beautiful discovery—offering reflection, family-friendly charm, and a moment of quiet reverence.

🌟 **Visiting Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon** 🌟
In Chiang Mai, Thailand, there is a sacred and magnificent attraction - **Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon**, which is a place you absolutely cannot miss. Located high on a mountain within Doi Inthanon National Park, this pagoda was built to commemorate the birthdays of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of Thailand. ⛰️✨
Not only is this an ideal location for spiritual practice and meditation, it also boasts a stunning panoramic view of the beautiful mountain scenery. The two pagodas symbolize the king and queen, named **Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon** and **Phra Mahathat Naphaphonphumisiri**, each exuding a unique sense of majesty and tranquility. 🕌🌿
We walked through neat gardens and beautiful walks, each filled with carefully planted flowers, which made people feel very comfortable. After climbing up the pagoda and overlooking the entire valley, you will feel as if you are in a fairyland on earth, and your soul will be cleansed in this peaceful environment. 🌸🌼
The air here is fresh, and the natural beauty and Buddhist culture are perfectly combined. It is a great place to relax and release stress. If you travel to Chiang Mai, you must come here to feel its aura and beauty. 🌟🌺
