The Mt. Pilatus Golden Round Trip is a must-try. If you have a Swiss Travel Pass, you only need to pay an additional 40 Swiss Francs (since the Swiss Travel Pass covers free train and boat rides, you just need to purchase tickets for the cogwheel train and cable cars at half price). Start your journey from the Lucerne pier by taking a boat ride. Enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views along the way—the breeze is incredibly refreshing! Upon arrival, switch to the cogwheel train to ascend the mountain. It's highly recommended to spend an extra 5 Swiss Francs to reserve a seat, as the cogwheel train does not allow standing passengers, and without a reservation, you might face long queues. The ride itself offers breathtaking views of the mountain scenery. 🤩 At the summit of Mt. Pilatus, which stands at an altitude of 2,132 meters, you'll be treated to magnificent and expansive views. Dining at the restaurant on the mountain is an amazing experience, but do consider your budget! 😂 For the descent, you'll first take a large cable car, then transfer to a smaller cable car 🚡, and finally hop on a bus back to Lucerne city center. #2024wish 📍Restaurant Frakmuntegg Schlossweg 1, 6010 Kriens, Switzerland Stopped by at Frakmuntegg while taking the cable car ride from Kriens to Frakmuntegg, and from Frakmuntegg to Pilatus Kulm! Great stop for a quick meal and a quick rest before we move on to the Pilatus Kulm! Love the restaurant, love the ambiance and the cozy warm vibe! It was indeed warm and comfortable staying in the restaurant before we braved ourselves into the cold again! The restaurant offered a stunning mountain view as well from their transparent window, how lovely it was! We ordered some beers and it was decent! Having some meals with this view was 10/10! We love it! In 2024, I wish to travel to Seoul, Korea!
