Pipa Lake, located within Taitung Forest Park in northeastern Taitung City, is a natural freshwater lake in Taiwan. Situated south of the Beinan River estuary, the lake is named for its resemblance to the shape of a pipa (a traditional Chinese musical instrument).
The area around Pipa Lake features various scenic constructions, such as bird-watching huts, pavilions, treehouses, a 1.7-kilometer-long bike path, forest trails, and wooden boardwalks.
The beauty of Pipa Lake is truly enchanting. Its mirror-like surface reflects the blue skies and green waters, creating a poetic and mesmerizing European-like scenery.
