After more than 30 years, I took my family to see how much the city has changed after living in it for 7 years. It was full of memories, both good and bad 😆. (I used to live in the 17th arrondissement and run a restaurant in the 6th arrondissement) Transportation tips: This time I chose EVA Air to fly directly to Vienna☺️ (I happened to encounter EVA Air flight attendants on strike on the way back😅, so I was transferred to Thai Airways to return to Taiwan) Must-see attractions: Most of Vienna's attractions are concentrated in the first district, including Prater Amusement Park 👻, Alte Donau (Old Donau River), Schonbrunn Palace 🌸🌺🌹🌳🌲 In order to be comfortable, we rented 2 cars 🚗 at all costs. The Prater is a large public park in Leopoldstadt, Vienna, Austria. The Wurstelprater, an amusement park that is often simply called "Prater", lies in one corner of the Wiener Prater and includes the Wiener Riesenrad Ferris wheel. The area that makes up the modern Prater was first mentioned in 1162, when Emperor Friedrich I gave the land to a noble family called de Prato. The word "Prater" was first used in 1403, originally referring to a small island in the Danube north of Freudenau, but was gradually extended to mean the neighbouring areas as well. The land changed hands frequently until it was bought by Emperor Maximilian II in 1560 to be a hunting ground. To deal with the problem of poachers, Emperor Rudolf II forbade entry to the Prater.

I played Prater Turm, which is like a Soaring, 117m-high and swinging around park offering panoramic city views, which made me almost stop breathing because it's very tall from the ground. This visit to the amusement park in Pratt Park was a complete surprise during the trip. The rides in the park are so crazy and exciting that you can’t stop playing. When you are tired of playing, you can go to the famous Schweizerhaus Pork Knuckle Restaurant in the park for a big meal. The super-large portion of pork knuckle, crispy skin and tender and juicy meat, has a rich taste with a slightly salty flavor, and is even more enjoyable when paired with beer. After eating and drinking, we walked along the trail in the park to the 130-year-old Ferris wheel - the oldest Ferris wheel in the world. The square cabins are spacious and comfortable and can accommodate many people. As the Ferris wheel slowly rises, the entire Vienna city and the amusement park come into view.
