Roaming Around Kutaisi Town
#summervacay Kutaisi totally surprised me! It’s one of Georgia’s oldest cities, but it’s got such a laid-back, cozy vibe. You can totally feel the history here, like, there’s old stuff everywhere, but it doesn’t feel overly touristy or hectic. Just super chill.
Wandering the town is a treat. The streets are walkable, the buildings have that faded charm, and there are random cool spots like cute cafes, quirky shops, and street art if you pay attention. Colchis Fountain in the main square is such a vibe, random but pretty cool!
The Bagrati Cathedral sits up on a hill with awesome views, and if you’re into markets, the Green Bazaar is chaotic but kinda fun. Locals are friendly, and everything’s affordable, which is always a win.
Kutaisi isn’t flashy, but that’s what makes it great. It’s got character, good food, and a slow pace that’s perfect for just being. If you like wandering aimlessly with a pastry in hand and some chill views, Kutaisi hits the spot.
