When I was really into Olle Trail, I had a chance to stay in Seoul for a few days. If I didn't walk for even a day, thorns would grow on my feet. While I was wondering, 'Isn't there a good place to go trekking in Seoul?', I discovered the Seoul Trail and walked it. I couldn't see mountains, grass, trees, and the sea as much as I wanted like on the Olle Trail, but I was really touched that I could feel this much nature in Seoul. 🥹 * Hiking is harder than I thought! 🌸 Walking along Seoul Dulle-gil, I experienced the ever-changing landscapes of spring and summer. First, the sight of cherry blossoms in full bloom during spring was truly breathtaking. The path was lined with cherry blossoms, creating a feeling as if flower petals were raining down from the sky. The gentle fall of petals was magical in every moment. This spring scenery offered a special experience, allowing one to enjoy cherry blossoms in nature while being close to the city. As summer approached, the atmosphere of Dulle-gil revealed a different charm. Lush trees enveloped the path on both sides, providing cool shade as I walked. The green leaves blocked the summer sunlight, making it pleasantly cool, and the breeze flowing along the path was refreshing. Strolling leisurely in nature gave me a sense of escape from the noise of the city.🌳 🔮 Experiencing the changes of spring and summer directly on Seoul Dulle-gil was truly delightful. It was a wonderful opportunity to feel close to nature and take a healing break from daily life.

I took a walk along the mountain path section of the Seoul Dulle-gil Trail. Despite being close to the city, it was surprisingly quiet and the forest was lush, making the entire walk refreshing.🍃 🍁 There were some slightly uphill sections, but overall it was manageable, and there were open viewpoints along the way where I could take a break and enjoy the scenery. The signposts were well-organized, so it wasn't difficult to find my way. Whether walking alone or with others, it was a course where you could comfortably enjoy nature.🌳 Next time, I’d like to slowly explore other sections as well.🔮

🔮 I visited the Gangdong Arts Center and nearby trails located in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. It's a perfect short healing trip where you can enjoy both nature and art while staying close to the city. 🌳 Gangdong Arts Center The Arts Center has a clean and modern exterior that leaves a strong impression. Although the exhibition space is not very large, it is charmingly and thoughtfully arranged, making it ideal for a light visit. The performance hall also looked quite appealing, and I found myself wanting to return to watch a show next time. There are also cafes and rest areas, making it a great spot to take a break. 🍁 Walking the Trails Just a short walk from the Arts Center leads directly to the surrounding trails. The course I walked was part of the Iljasan Trail, which has gentle slopes and plenty of shaded areas under the trees, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. The quiet forest path, which is rare to find in the city, left a lasting impression, and the occasional open views allowed me to pause, rest, and enjoy the breeze. You can enjoy the trail with just sneakers and no special equipment, and the well-maintained paths make it an easy course even for beginners.

⛰️ This is the Iljasan Course of Seoul Dulle-gil Trail 7, located on a gentle mountain. 🏞️ The trail stretches 7.7 km from the entrance of Myeongil Park to Ogeum Bridge 1. It features wooden deck stairs and well-maintained mountain paths, making it ideal for walking. There are pavilions along the way for resting, and even air guns to clean dirt off your shoes. 🌳 The trail is perfect for walking as it alternates between uphill and downhill paths. Exercise equipment is also installed along the trail, allowing you to combine strength training with your walk. 🌲 The forest is filled with trees that provide shade, creating a cool and pleasant environment for exercise. Be cautious on the stair sections and mountain paths to avoid knee injuries.
