The aroma of mulled wine and bredele cookies to waft through the streets. The brilliant hanging lights that illuminate the city’s centerpiece, the Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg, are also a sight to behold. La Petite France is arguably the most iconic district in Strasbourg. This quaint, safe area is famous for its half-timbered houses, cobbled streets, and canals that run through it. Large Island, is the historic heart of Strasbourg. Encircled by the River Ill, it is renowned for its beautifully preserved medieval cityscape. Besides the cuisine that reflects the influence of both German and French cuisine. The neighbourhood of Neustadt is renowned for its unique blend of French and German architecture. Best city for feeling yourself in a fairy tale story

I had only two hours in Strasbourg, but the city made every minute count. One of the most memorable moments was watching the turning bridge in action near Petite France! This moving bridge felt like a gentle reminder of how Strasbourg harmonizes tradition and innovation. Strasbourg is a fashionable city in the Alsace region of France. It's a city on the border with the German flag, and it's a cute place that's perfect for a girls' trip. Maybe because it's on the German flag, it had a somewhat German atmosphere. The central station was modern and artistic. The buses were also colorful and it felt like an artsy city, which was nice. Many of the buildings were pastel colored, and it was just so stylish. Many people walking around the city were wearing colorful clothes, so it was a photogenic place 🥰🤍 It's also recommended to stop by after visiting Frankfurt or Heidelberg in Germany 🙆♀️ It's a compact city that you can enjoy in half to a full day, so I left my luggage at the station and went on a walking trip! It was trip to Strasbourg, France. Just to share some of my favorite places 😍 We visited many places such as Strasbourg Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg). We climbed to the top of the cathedral for a panoramic view and visited the Astronomical Clock. 📍Place de la Cathédrale, 67000 Strasbourg. 💰 Free (Cathedral), €5 for the tower climb. We also visited La Petite France. We strolled through this picturesque district with half-timbered houses, and took a boat tour on the Ill River. 📍Grand'Rue, 67000 Strasbourg. 💰Free (Boat tour around €15). We also visited Palais Rohan. We explored three museums – Musée des Beaux-Arts, Musée Archéologique, and Musée des Arts Décoratifs. All these three museum are very unique, but personally I would prefer Musée des Beaux-Arts 💯 📍2 Place du Château, 67000 Strasbourg. 💰 €7 for one museum or €12 for all three. If you are looking for a good restaurant, I would recommend you to try Chez Yvonne. We ordered the Baeckeoffe (Alsatian meat stew), Foie gras. All the dishes were above average and the service was so good and we really enjoyed it 🙌 💰Around €25-€40 per person. 📍10 Rue du Sanglier, 67000 Strasbourg. We also visited European Parliament. We toured around the building, learnt about the European Union's functioning. 📍 Allée du Printemps, 67070 Strasbourg. 💰Free (advance reservation required). We also went to Parc de l'Orangerie. We enjoyed a picnic, rent a boat, visited the small zoo, and admired the flower gardens. I would definitely recommend you to rent a boat for perfect sceneries 👍 📍Parc de l'Orangerie, 67000 Strasbourg. 💰Free (boat rental around €3-€5). We also visited Musée d'Art Moderne et Contemporain. Last but not least, I would recommend you to visit Le Clou. We ordered the Escargots and Coq au Riesling. The highlight of my journey was undoubtedly the magnificent Strasbourg Cathedral, a breathtaking masterpiece of Gothic architecture that soared towards the heavens. I’ve been in Strasbourg for the past week, while also traveling to other places as well. This place has a magical feeling, especially with the buildings and architecture. Lots of good food and shopping places to discover. Everything is within walking distance, and lots of places to take nice pictures!

Strasbourg is near the border between France and Germany, so the city offers a very unique blend of both French and German influences, which is reflected in their architecture and cuisine. We spent one day exploring the most iconic sites, which included the Strasbourg Cathedral, the Palais Rohan, la Petit France, and just generally strolling down the medieval streets and popping in and out of the shops and restaurants.
