[Fukushima] Oku-Aizu, where you can see a fantastical world
The JR Tadami Line connects JR Aizu-Wakamatsu Station in Fukushima Prefecture to Koide Station in Niigata Prefecture. It is a railway line that runs through the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, and is known for its beautiful scenery. You can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons on this line, and the autumn leaves are especially spectacular. The scenery of the vivid autumn leaves spread out while surrounded by deep green mountains is a masterpiece. There are also clear streams, hot springs, and historical sites scattered along the tracks. I rode the train during the day on a weekday, and there were many tourists on board. The train stopped at Aizu-Kawaguchi Station for about 30 minutes on the way, so I was able to buy souvenirs at the souvenir shop in the station. I was also able to take my time taking photos of the Tadami River that flows right next to the station. It is said that the Tadami Line in winter allows you to see the world of ink painting, so it is highly recommended. It is not an easy place to get to, but you can see wonderful scenery, so please visit it once. Recommended course for outing plans: Koriyama Station → Aizu-Wakamatsu Station → Koide Station Transportation: Train Tips for conquering the area ✅ If you take the Ban'etsu West Line from Koriyama Station, you can see Mt. Bandai. ✅The ride will take more than four and a half hours, so we recommend bringing some drinks and snacks.
