This is a lovely boutique hotel, nestled discreetly in the heart of Chiang Mai old city, close to Phra Sign Temple and the Sunday Walking Street. It has a very peaceful atmosphere with well kept courtyard gardens, a majestic 200-year old Tamarind tree surrounded by lush greens, beautiful outdoor pool and wonderful spa. I booked a 2.5 hours spa session and LOVED it. Khun Oil, my therapist was so incredibly amazing. I loved the oil massage. So healing! A wondeful place to unwind and reset. I would recommend calling ahead to book. They have an array of services available ranging from traditional Lanna spa experience, body scrub and oil massage for 60mins, 90mins, 150mins. The entrance to the Rawang Country Hotel is a long green bamboo forest, and there is a more than 200-year-old tree in the courtyard.
