#July Travel Support Fund Xiamen exceeded my expectations. The romance of the seaside city and the fragrance of Chinese tradition are exquisitely combined here, and even just walking around, the scenery was as beautiful as a painting. The first day started at Gaoliangseo. I still vividly remember the feeling of walking along the seaside promenade and feeling the cool breeze. A cup of milk tea at a cafe facing the sea was enough to start the day. Sukjanghwawon is Xiamen's representative traditional garden, and just walking between the quiet pond and the old house calmed my mind. It was a space where the unique Chinese wooden architecture and garden aesthetics were alive. And at Ilgwangam, I could briefly feel the spiritual depth of the city along with the tranquility of the temple. The Piano Museum was a place that represented Xiamen's artistic sensibility. There were rows of old pianos on display, and in some exhibition halls, you could hear the sound of the piano being played, allowing for an emotional time. I really enjoyed the time spent walking slowly in a quiet atmosphere. Xiamen, which was short but densely enjoyed. The most famous building is 'Chengqi Lou,' a 400-year-old structure. Its four-layered circular design is still home to residents, a sight that is both fascinating and awe-inspiring. Visitors can also try homemade noodles and tofu prepared by the villagers, offering a simple yet heartwarming taste. Nanjing Tulou feels like stepping into a completely different time zone compared to Xiamen city. Unlike the fast-paced urban life, this place moves slowly and quietly, preserving its unique charm.

I was surprised by its larger size than I thought and the residents welcomed me warmly. The unique house style was impressive! If you are traveling to Xiamen, I also recommend the Toru Tour.

Take hundreds of photos throughout the journey. Stop to eat. There are many types of food to choose from. Focus on Mala, Tom Yum, and it's like Shabu. Season a little and it tastes good. The price is sometimes expensive, sometimes cheap. It depends on the shop you go to eat.
