The only downside was the entrance fee, which felt a bit steep, especially for families, but overall, it was worth it for the experience. #uktrip We had a fantastic time at Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery! It’s the perfect mix of art and history, set in a beautiful location with amazing views over the city. The art collection is really impressive, with a great mix of classic and modern works. We were lucky to catch the Claude Monet exhibition! Seeing Monet’s work up close, along with paintings from other famous Impressionist artists like Renoir and Pissarro, was an incredible experience. The history exhibits are just as good. The museum does a great job of telling Nottingham’s story, from medieval times to the present. There’s lots about Robin Hood, the castle’s past, and even some underground caves to explore! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s easy to walk around, and there’s plenty to see without feeling overwhelmed. If you’re visiting Nottingham, this museum is a must-see! Whether you love art, history, or just exploring cool places, you won’t be disappointed. Before Christmas, I went to Nottingham in central England and strolled around the Christmas market in the city center. There was a very beautiful Ferris wheel and many stalls next to it, selling all kinds of Christmas decorations and Santa hats. It was very unique and full of Christmas atmosphere.

Of course, I couldn’t visit Nottingham without a nod to its most famous figure—Robin Hood. I climbed up to Nottingham Castle, perched above the city on Castle Rock. Though the original medieval fortress is long gone, the views were stunning, and the small statue of Robin Hood nearby was a charming tribute to the folklore. Wollaton Park was the highlight of the day. Just a short bus ride from the centre, it felt like stepping into an English postcard. The wide green lawns, calm lake, and even a few deer wandering through the grass made it a perfect spring escape.
