This hotel has a bit of an old-school vibe, but it's well-maintained. If you don't look too closely, it still appears upscale. Since I chose to stay in the hotel most of the time, I could only judge the service in broad strokes—and everything seemed wonderful. As a Marriott Platinum member, I immediately received a room upgrade and access to the executive lounge. Ningbo is a coastal city with abundant seafood, so the hotel's executive lounge served seafood dishes daily during happy hour. During happy hour, I enjoyed plating different dishes separately, pouring a glass of red wine🍷, and gazing at the confluence of Ningbo's three rivers (Yong River, Fenghua River, and Yuyao River). The view was quite lovely, making each "dining hall" moment feel leisurely. Some business travelers hurried into the lounge, piling various dishes onto one plate. Most drank soft drinks or beer while eating, scrolling through their phones or taking work calls, then quickly leaving after their meal. Afterward, they even served tea and snacks! So thoughtful~ It was better than any other SPA I've tried elsewhere—no wonder it's considered top-tier in Ningbo. You truly get what you pay for! 🌈The Xiu Yue Tea Restaurant that I used to frequent recently opened a new dim sum shop in Tianyi Square. All dim sum are handmade and steamed upon order~ The price is affordable and the taste is good! ! 🏠The dim sum shop is right next to the Westin Hotel. When you enter the shop, you can see the kitchen on the 1️⃣ floor. You can see the bustling scene through the window. 🔥The 2️⃣ floor is the dining area, and there are seats by the window~ ✅Handmade shrimp dumplings This is the store’s signboard! ! The dumpling skin is crystal clear and very elastic. The filling uses a whole large shrimp with celery and other seasonal vegetables. It is so satisfying to eat one at a time. ✅Steamed chicken feet with lily sauce The steamed chicken feet are soft and tasty, and paired with garlic, lily and peanuts to remove the greasiness. Overview & Public Area I have been to Ningbo four or five times recently, and the main reason for coming to Ningbo again is to go to Ningbo Qianhu Fish Port. I stayed in the city for one night and looked at the distribution of Hyatt and Marriott. First, I ruled out the older Sheraton, so the choice was basically between this Westin and Hyatt Centric. If you prefer dining, you can choose Hyatt Centric with a 600-point voucher (although their breakfast is not good), and if you want to sleep comfortably, choose Westin. Under the agreement price, the room rates of the two are basically the same. I checked in at 10:00 am and left after breakfast the next day. It was basically a pure sleep experience, and it was a good choice. On the way to many cities, you can see the Westin logo at a glance (because it is high). The hotel is located at the intersection of Sanjiangkou, with a sense of competence of a super high-rise building in the early days, with a square and slender building shape, which adds points to the building itself. The area of each floor is relatively small, and there are basically single-digit guest rooms on each floor. The underground parking lot should be mixed with many shops, which is very messy and difficult to park. I have seen many people complain about the dirty and messy parking lot, which is indeed a disadvantage. The lobby on the first floor is relatively small, but the staff's guidance is in place and the service is skilled. Room The room was upgraded to a high-floor river view room. The night view was so-so, but it looked better during the day. Some lighting decorations and mirror designs are not so boring and formulaic. I really want to complain about the plastic transparent colored washbasin in the bathroom. Later, I saw a similar one in Andaz Shanghai. I can understand the era when the hotel was created. They may have thought this setting was very trendy and cool, but as time goes by, plastic is very easy to leave traces of time, and dense scratches will make it look dirty and old. There are no major problems in other places, and it is quite novel for such a super high-rise but small single-story old building. Of course, when staying at Westin, the highlight is definitely their Heavenly Bed. After staying in hotels a lot, you will unconsciously care about and compare the bedding of different hotels, and the good and bad are still obvious. The Heavenly Bed is the best aid for deep sleep after a tiring journey. Among the Marriott brands, the only bedding I like the most is Westin. Breakfast I think their breakfast is a little surprise. The expectation is very low, but in fact, except for the small crowd caused by the high occupancy rate, everything else is very in line with the standard of a hotel at this price. There are a variety of dishes to choose from, and there are some Ningbo-style breakfasts, but I didn't eat much. I found that no matter where I go, I actually eat the same few things for breakfast. Life is full of formulas, and I am not willing to try easily. Fruits and some dishes are replenished quickly, and you won't feel that many things are gone even if you eat late. There are many people in the summer vacation, and it is understandable that it is a bit noisy. Summary I would not come to Ningbo Westin for the hotel experience, but if I want to transfer and rest when I am tired from traveling, it will be my first choice in Ningbo, with excellent bedding and a passable breakfast, combined with the price advantage of the agreement price.

Among the Marriott hotels in Ningbo, most have been open for some years. In comparison, although the Westin Ningbo is not perfect, it stands out and has more advantages. I chose this one because you can see the high-altitude city night view where the three rivers converge. The central location makes it super convenient to go anywhere, almost all within walking distance... The hotel facilities are complete, but the only downside is that there are too few elevators🛗.
