It's fun, photogenic, and a must-do! ✅ 📍 Stop 1: Mountain & Sea Health Trail It is recommended to arrive around 9:00 AM when the sunlight is soft and not too harsh, perfect for taking beautiful photos. You can enter from the East Gate of Xianyue Park, which leads directly to the amazing "Spiral Slope" of the Leisure Garden. Stroll along the trail, with lush green mountains on one side 🌳 and the bustling city on the other. Enjoy the sea breeze and the pleasant atmosphere. The entire route takes approximately 2–3 hours, so take your time and enjoy the scenery. 📍 Stop 2: Tianzhuyan Temple After descending from the Mountain & Sea Health Trail, it's about a 15-minute walk to Tianzhuyan Temple. Originally built during the Kangxi period, the temple has been rebuilt and now boasts an impressive scale with yellow walls and tiles, full of Southern Fujian style. If you're tired from walking, you can enjoy vegetarian cuisine at the Zhuyuan Pavilion Vegetarian Restaurant inside the temple, or buy some vegetarian pastries at Tianzhu Songfu Bakery. Sit under the corridor, sip tea, and relax. 📍 Stop 3: Land God Temple From Tianzhuyan Temple, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Land God Temple. This temple, originally built in the Song Dynasty, is very popular, and it is said to be very effective for seeking wealth and marriage. Don't forget to touch the Land God's golden ingot for good fortune, and you can also visit the Yue Lao Hall (God of Love) to pray for love. Outside the temple, there is a sea of flowers that bloom in different seasons, making it a beautiful spot for taking photos. Accommodation Recommendation 🏠: This time, I chose Le Meridien 🏨! It's nestled on the hillside of Mount Xianyue, surrounded by mountains and forests, making it a natural oxygen bar. It's a 15-minute drive from the airport and close to popular attractions. There's also a shuttle bus to take you up and down the mountain, which is very thoughtful! 💡 Tips: 1. Every photo taken here is stunning; it's a photographer's paradise! 📍Tianzhuyan Temple is located on Xianyue Mountain, not far from the Xianyue Mountain Land Temple. There are many other attractions nearby, offering opportunities to stroll through forests, enjoy nature, and experience the solemnity of temples. 🚗Here are a few transportation options: 🚌By bus, you can take a bus to Huli Park East Gate Station, Xiandong Villa Station, Cultural Palace Station, SM City Plaza Station, or Tangbian Station. From each station, you'll need to walk uphill, with varying distances. 🚶‍♀I chose to walk up the health trail next to Guanyin Temple. The fresh air and beautiful scenery made for a pleasant hike. Due to its solitary location and hidden deep in the mountains, it was rarely visited, and its history of destruction and reconstruction is unclear. In the late Qing Dynasty, a monk from Nanshan Temple in Zhangzhou took up residence here, worked hard, rebuilt the temple, and insisted on practicing Zen Buddhism. The temple is designed according to traditional Chinese temples, emphasizing axial correspondence. The architectural complex is based on yellow walls and tiles, which is a traditional Minnan style.
