Had we found it sooner, it would’ve been the highlight of our trip. Designed with intention, the park features two separate outdoor playgrounds—one shaded for younger kids, the other for climbers and thrill-seekers, complete with a mesh dome and towering slides. But the real star? A free-entry water play zone with spinning wheels, splash pads, and cascading “water steps” that invite joyful chaos. Just don’t forget swimmers and a sunhat—it’s open sky all the way. Travel Tip: Avoid rainy days—playgrounds close during even light drizzle. Excellent washroom facilities nearby, and with The Exchange TRX Mall steps away, you can pair kid playtime with grown-up retail therapy.

Now we only buy one pound at the market for NT$49! Why not eat more during the peak season? Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu once left a popular poem: "Looking back at Chang'an, the embroidery is piled up, and the thousands of doors on the top of the mountain are opened one after another. A man riding a red dust makes the concubine smile, and no one knows that the lychees are coming." It means that when you look back at the splendid scenery from Chang'an City, the doors of Huaqing Palace on the top of the mountain are opened one after another. A man riding a horse galloped over and raised rolling dust, which made Yang Guifei smile, and no one knew that he was sending lychees specifically for her. The photo was taken by me in a supermarket in Kuala Lumpur. A box of about 20 lychees is equivalent to about NT$120, which is not a sky-high price but not cheap! The most terrible price is in Japan's Kuromon Market (400 yen per lychee). Hahaha, it turns out that it is not cheap to be an emperor and make the concubine smile!
