This summer... I'm escaping to Khanom with my grandchildren.
#Where to travel this summer?
A family trip during the Songkran festival, we took our children and grandchildren by car from Chumphon to the beach at Khanom Beach, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
This time, we stayed at Vish Hotel and Cafe, a small hotel with only 6 rooms. The ground floor is a cafe and gallery, while the 2nd and 3rd floors are guest rooms.
My group booked a family room with 3 beds, 1 room for 3 people, and the other 2 rooms are balcony rooms. All rooms have spacious balconies and are comfortable to sleep in. The air conditioning is cool.
In the late afternoon, the weather is not too hot. Let's walk to Khanom Beach. Although this hotel is not on the beach, it is only a 3-5 minute walk. You can see the sea from the balcony. It is very convenient.
Khanom Beach is white, clean, and inviting for swimming. It is no less than the beach on Koh Samui. The only difference is that there are fewer people here and it is much quieter.
We booked a room with breakfast included. The accommodation provided croissants and fresh coffee or other drinks at the cafe. You can choose as you like.
The cafe is decorated downstairs with coconut leaves and has paintings by local artists. Or you can buy it to take home.
Summer trip, stay at Vish hotel and cafe, walk down to Khanom beach, kids are having fun playing in the water, while adults are taking pictures and uploading them to social media.
Khanom is not far from Chumphon, you can organize a long trip to Nakhon Si Thammarat, stop to take pictures of the viewpoint and the pagoda temple (Ai Khai) in Sichon, then end at Khiriwong, sleep in Nakhon Si Thammarat city, and then return.
