#summervacay Just along the busy Wangfujing shopping street in Beijing stands St. Joseph’s Church also known as Wangfujing Catholic Church. This beautiful old church was first built in the 1600s and still welcomes visitors with its grey brick walls, tall towers and peaceful charm. It’s one of the oldest Catholic churches in the city and has a quiet square in front where people sit, rest, or take photos. The mix of Western and Chinese design makes it stand out among the modern shops nearby. Whether you're exploring the area or just looking for a quiet place to pause, this church is a lovely spot to visit.

Strolling around Beijing from Forbidden City, Jinshan Park, Summer Palace and ended in Great Wall. Overall lots of fun. Payment is easy with Alipay. Beijing is clean and SAFE! Located right next to Wangfujing, the church is incredibly beautiful—I truly love it! According to the information I found, the opening hours are: 8:00–11:00, 14:00–17:00. However, for some reason, when I visited at 14:00, it wasn’t open. Perhaps there was an event or something going on, but there was no sign explaining it, and the door was locked. It was a bit disappointing, so I can only look forward to visiting again next time. Wangfujing is also a great street for shopping. If you’re looking for anime merchandise, this is definitely a good spot. There are plenty of malls to choose from for shopping, and I even visited the Wangfujing Bookstore. Just one piece of advice: don’t try to find a restroom in the Wangfujing Bookstore—don’t ask why 🙊. The weather was truly wonderful, and my spring outing quietly came to an end. Beijing, I’ll definitely come back next time!

Strolling through the hutongs in the city is especially comfortable 😌 ◾️Evening: Peking Duck Surprise Hidden in the Hutongs When you're hungry from shopping, head straight to Jianguomen and check out Beijing Cuisine Restaurant, a flavorful restaurant hidden in the Scitech shopping mall. The dining environment is low-key and elegant, and the privacy is great even when dining in the hall! ❗️ I also tried the sea urchin Peking duck that has been very popular recently! The amber-colored duck skin glistens with oil as the knife cuts through it. The waiter said that the sea urchin used is the most plump and freshest Dalian sea urchin. The taste of this and the duck meat together is really fragrant, fresh, and sweet! Who can't love this combination? The young lady's service was super attentive, constantly refilling our water and proactively handing us wet wipes to wipe our hands. She even helped me pack everything up after I paid the bill while I was in the restroom. The details were perfect! 💯 ◾️Night: Shopping in Wangfujing On the way back to the hotel, take a stroll around Wangfujing to digest your food. The night view is another kind of scenery in Beijing.

They are all so beautiful. 🏯Travel information: It is at the entrance of Wangfujing Street. It is easy to find because it stands alone and has an old-fashioned appearance at the entrance. It wasn't on my original itinerary, but I happened to come across it when I went to Wangfujing Street. My first impression was, "What is this?" Wow!" I found out that it was Dongtang Cathedral, also known as Wangfujing Cathedral. It really has a European-style antique feel. 🎇Travel tip: You can see the outside and inside of the cathedral. You don't need a separate ticket. 🥨Recommended food & restaurants: Wangfujing Street is famous for Chinese food as well as international food.
